Wonderful location

Fantastic place right on the beach. Beautiful sunrise and very close to the village. It was perfect for our family of four.

Perfect fall beach getaway!

We could not have asked for a better location - beach front, short walk to the village, and the property is exactly as advertised. Great for the dogs too!

Great getaway spot!

My husband and I and our two close friends stayed over a long weekend and had a wonderful time. It was so refreshing to be right on the beach and also being so close the town area with all the restaurants and shops. The house had everything we needed including comfy beds!

Hidden Gem

What's not to love about an oceanfront cottage, steps from the beach, very clean, well supplied and with prompt response from owners? We enjoyed being a short drive/bike ride to restaurants & shops. Nearby places of interest include historical St. Simons Lighthouse & Museum, Fort Frederica & Kayaking with Southeast Adventure Outfitters (Mike and Cathy were awesome guides).

Absolute Perfection!

We can’t thank you enough for this amazing place! Quiet beach. Everything we needed was within walking distance after the initial grocery store stop. We ventured over to the Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll and enjoyed that too. Our only complaint was that our trip was too short. We will be back!

The second time was just as fantastic as the first!

We stayed here in 2019 and wanted to return in 2020 but Covid had a different plan so we were able to stay again this year and it was just as amazing as I remembered. The property is in a perfect location, clean, everything works like it should! I was particularly excited to see that they got a new table for the deck that was a high top so you could see the ocean view. Morning tea/coffee is to die for on the deck as is evening cocktails. I can't wait to go again next year!!

Really the perfect rental house!

We loved the home and the location. There were a couple of things that needed improvement. The sofa bed was broken down in the middle and was not very comfortable. The Internet service kept going in and out and we could not locate the router to reset it. We will be back!

Truly loved our stay there. There's nothing better than the beach in your yard!

Our family went to SSI for the first time last year and absolutely fell in love. We stayed about a block up but always entered next to Seaclusion and said that the next year we would get that condo so we would be right at the beach. It was wonderful too! The sand pit is perfect for horseshoes. We had planned on doing some sightseeing this year since we didn't last year. The only place we went was to Jekyll Island. We just didn't want to leave our little oasis for too long. The only downfall was the wi-if going in and out and being at the mercy of the neighbors below to reset it.

Seaclusion is so charming!

We are checking out today, but would love to stay longer! My sister (from Atlanta) and I (from Florida) met here with our 3 daughters for a little summer getaway. We stayed in the second floor unit and the views from the condo (both inside and out) were amazing. After long days soaking up the sun on the beach (steps away!), we spent the evenings sipping wine on the balcony listening to the breeze and the ocean waves. The kitchen was well equipped and the large king beds (both bedrooms!) were extremely comfortable. The main living area has a great design and the open layout is perfect for hanging out and forming lasting memories with family! We loved this little hamlet and we will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you St. Simons and Seaclusion for a memorable stay!!

Great time

Enjoyed our visit very much. Strong points: location right on the ocean and very, very clean and attractive inside. Quiet. Really good towels and comfortable beds. Weak points: the wifi is spotty - probably need to have the modem checked out? It came and went - mostly went… Also, had to buy a bowl(round casserole) for microwaving and left it there for other folks to use as well. Only two cereal bowls. No salad plates. The porch out front is perfect for enjoying the ocean breezes and watching the big ships coming out of the port at Brunswick. Easy walk to the Village.

Seaclusion is one of the most ideal locations on the island.

Pat and Jay (Biff) Souder. Perkiomenville, PA. Aug/Sept. 2016 We stayed just one week at Seaclusion, but could have stayed forever. The little private beach and the ocean views were just one of the many delights this condo has to offer. However, because I'm slightly vertically challenged, I had a small problem with the "high" bed in the master bedroom. A nightly running jump was all that was needed. The restaurants were some of the best we've dined at. Palmers Village Cafe, great breakfasts , Palm Coast delightful lunch, Crab Shack and Crab Daddy's did not disappoint, Certified Burgers & Beverage very noisy but awesome burgers, Iguanas Seafood was OK...with free ice cream. The very best meal was at Georgia Sea Grill, very pricey but well worth it. We so look forward to our return stay in Dec. Toughing out the tropical storm Hermine was exciting, although a bit scary. Many thanks to Jennifer and Heather for there help during our stay. See you in December.

Disappointed

Location was great...communication with property manager was timely (they apologized about the complaints but did nothing about them) Day 1: chair outside broke with my 83 year old mother in it. Chair was not replaced and we only had three chairs around the table. The weather was gorgeous but we couldn't sit around the table outside. Comforter in guest bedroom had sand on it upon arrival. There was one ice tray in the freezer with no ice. The kitchen was poorly stocked. Day 3: landscaping company came at 8am and mowed and blew for an hour waking everyone up TV was fuzzy so we switched to Netflix and then streaming didn't work due to lag time. None of these are life changing problems but when you pay a high price you don't expect to have these issues. I work hard to pay for vacations and shouldn't have receive less than was expected. I kept up with my end of the deal, paid on time and left on time; therefore, I think Lighthouse management should have to as well.

Awesome location steps from the beach

The property was perfect for up to four people. Beds are comfy, two baths is great, plenty of bath towels. Amazing beach views, right next to public beach access (pro and con). Two TVs, ceiling fans in bedrooms are appreciated. We always appreciate pet friendly rentals, as do our two furbabies.
