The view was INCREDIBLE, but otherwise this stay was a bit interesting. I’m pretty certain I got termite bites while I was asleep in our 1st room. We had to extend due to severe snowy conditions at home and second room kitchen was infested with ants. Road coming to property is a literal dirt road with many unsafe obstacles along the way. Also saw a mouse run across our floor.

Secluded from the rest of the city, requires taxi, no ability to walk to nearby restaurants. No pool. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash bottles were used. Towels thin. Old furnishings, flooring, and bathroom. Nice view of the bay. The hotel staff were very nice. Good internet.

I showed up at 830pm. There was no one at the front desk. Thankfully my driver knew their number and called them. They advised me if I had to check in before 4pm or advise them. They had sold my room and told me to go get a refund from Expedia. This hotel is not a hotel and should be taken off the platform. Shocking. Luckily my friend was at the Hampton and he let me stay in his room. On the road over 200 days a year and never experienced this ever. Do not book this hotel.

While the ocean was visible from the room and the room was pretty nice inside the hotel aesthetics are old and need to be updated. It looks like an abandoned hotel on the outside the check-in desk person is not always there although it looks like she lives on the property. The plumbing needs to be updated. I had to plunge the toilet. There was a plunger in the bathroom so they knew about the plumbing issues. I stayed on the bottom of the hotel and they were lots of noises upstairs and noises in general on the property. I had a good night rest because the beds are very soft and the pillows is fluffy and I was glad to see the ocean in the morning and at night the lights that lit up the island I think the nightly rate is too expensive for what I saw while on the property, but it’s cheaper compared to other places and a good value

We were scrambling to find a place to stay after our Airbnb fell through and stayed here. It was difficult to find and was in a very strange area. The area around it was not kept up and felt very secluded. The person checking us in was very short and we felt like we were inconveniencing her bc we had a late check in (6:30PM). We never saw her again after we checked in, no one was ever at the desk. The AC didn't work in our room but after letting them know it did get fixed. It was reasonably priced for what we got but we would not stay here again, we did not feel safe.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The little private terrace looked out on a gorgeous view of the harbor. The staff person was lovely. This only downside was the exterior which needed serious upgrading and renovation. Travelers looking for a comfortable local adventure and not having high for perfection would be happy here. It is quiet and clearly was a beautiful property once upon a time. We enjoyed our stay.
