READ BEFORE BOOKING!!!!

Well, this is my first time to write a review ever. My fiancee and I were getting married in St. Thomas, so we planned our 6 night trip 5 months in advance. Before we came to the island, I contacted the owner to make sure that everything is in the good shape before we moved in. On the day of arrival, on Friday, we found out that AC wasn't working. I contacted property manager to let her know about the problem. She told me that she was aware of this issue and she brought it to owner's attention. Then, I contacted the owner and she offered a temporary solution of portable A/C for FOUR nights. They could not send anyone to repair AC unill Tuesday. We decided to give a chance to a portable A/C. The portable AC was a joke, the room temperature never went below 80 F. I told the owner this was not acceptable and that we cannot leave in these conditions. The owner offered to move for a couple days to a different unit which was no even close to what we paid and we did not want to wait 4 days before the A/C be fixed, so we moved out and rented a different unit. It should be mentioned, that the owner promised us to refund for the nights without A/C but until this moment, we haven't heard from her again. I sent her few messages through VRBO website and direct text messages. I filed a claim with VRBO and they have issues of contacting the owner as well. Be aware, that if something goes wrong with this unit, you will have no support at all and you will never see you money back. Moreover, the unit is old and needs updating. We rented it for the view, it is beautiful, but everything else was a disappointment. Do not recommend to have any business with the owner, unless you want to have an unpleasant vacation.

A wonderful stay

This condo was as advertised. The owner,Alex was easy to correspond with and offered good tips. We loved it. Well equipped and very comfortable. Nothing fancy but everything we needed. There isn’t maid service but we were provided with enough towels and we never used all that were left for us. The two restaurants on the property were both very good. The “fancier” Mirador was $$$ but excellent food and atmosphere. The shoreline cafe was always tasty. The property was well maintained consistently. The location great near beautiful snorkel beaches and Red Hook. my only critique wasn’t in the property control. The hotel across the bay Margaritaville played loud music with more loud base than anything else every evening. Usually they cut off by 10 but not always. We had to shut windows and use AC instead of ocean breeze to sleep. It was annoying to our cocktails on the deck and enjoyment of our gorgeous view. It must have been really unbearable if you were staying over there at least for anyone over 30. Despite that I highly recommend this condo and Point Pleasant

Paradise

This property is nicer than the pictures. It has everything you need for your stay. It is very clean and the view is unbelievable! Alex is wonderful! As soon as I booked the condo, she sent me everything I needed to know about the condo and suggested restaurants, beaches and even recommended a car rental place. Take her suggestions...we saw some of the best beaches ever! We even went to St. John twice. The beaches are beautiful there too.

Perfect for family of 3 and location is the best for walking to a beach for snorkeling, great restaurant on site & views from balcony are stunning. 3 pools on property. Best place to vacation!

Front seat to Paradise

Alex’s villa is in the perfect location with absolutely stunning views of the water and surrounding islands. You can go to sleep to the sound of waves crashing below, and wake up to the most amazing sunrise you’ve ever seen. Alex was a great host, super responsive, informative, and accommodating to our every request. We can’t wait to come back!

Peaceful, beautiful, and near a nice small beach

This was a great place to stay for a few days in St. Thomas. The property is lovely and was very clean. The nearby restaurants have great food and service, and the cute little beach is a wonderful place to swim. The owner is communicative and generous, and made our stay so nice. Hoping to come back again one day!

Great location, great host, great stay

This is my second stay at Point Pleasant and I'm sure it's one of the best accommodations at St. Thomas and it's affordable too. This particular unit from Alexandra is clean and have everything needed for comfort stay: full-equipped kitchen, bedding and towels, beach gear. Highly recommend this vacation rental. Alexandra is very helpful and provided very valuable advices about local places

You won't want to leave!

Alex and Dave Thanks so much for a perfect week in paradise! You codo is awesome and comfortable and the views from the porch are fantastic. We rented a jeep, driving on the left is a little different but fun. Lots of hills!!! Can't wait to come back and we will deffinalty stay at your wonderful condo! Thanks again, Paula and Joe

Perfect location, amazing views!

Loved this oceanfront condo at Point Pleasant, perfectly located to walk to Cokie or short drive/taxi to Lindquist. The space was clean, comfortable and is the closest unit to the lower pool and restaurant. Wake up to views of Cokie point, Thatch Cay and St John. We will be back!

Beautiful and peaceful spot!

We were so happy with our week here. The apartment was perfect for our family of three. The ocean breezes kept everything cool and having our coffee on the balcony each morning was a delight. We loved the resort community - helpful staff and the shoreline restaurant was really good! We didn’t have a rental car so we walked through Margaritaville to catch the $1.00 safari taxi which worked out great and felt like an adventure! Alexandra was so helpful and responsive. We’ll stay here again for sure.

A perfect Location

Thank you Alex for your hospitality and lending us your Rental for a perfect vacation. It was clean and comfortable and well stocked with the things you need just like the last time we stayed. It's a perfect location to Red Hook and the Ferries to St John, and the BVI's. Thank you again for letting us modify our check out due to bad weather back in the States. We will be back and encourage others to stay just to drink a glass of wine on the covered patio and look at the turquoise water and outer islands. Thank you Dave & Marla

Most beautiful place!

My husband and I had a wonderful time on St. Thomas and visiting several other islands. The condo was just perfect! Perfect location and accommodations. We loved the private little beach, as well as the other more populated ones nearby like Cokie beach. Alexandra was great to work with and we had all we needed. I would highly recommend the resort and this particular condo couldn't have a better location and view. The only downside were the bugs. Be sure to bring bug spray! We will back!!

Amazing views! Was perfect

This resort is awesome the views from the condo are fabulous ... so close to the water it’s surreal. Waking up to the waves is a treat ! The condo is spacious and clean and had everything that we needed for a week. Our host was awesome and we communicated very well back and forth ... Alex was very helpful in plannkng our stay with tips. Kudos to the property manager who is lovely and attended to our needs and questions during our stay! The little beach off the condo is gorgeous.... people are crazy to complain that it’s small... who cares you have the whole island and Saint John to explore ! This little gem is private never a soul and so secluded ... truly gorgeous! The restaurant is amazing ... views unreal during our al fresco dinner ;) we went to Saphire and eventbough that complex sits on the beach I loved ours so much more!!! More privacy and breathtaking views! Thanks Alex for an amazing week!!!!!!! We loved it here so much we are thinking of buying on the island ;) we will return soon!

The condo was just like the pictures and we loved it there.

I highly recommend this condo. The pictures on line is what you get. It's very clean and beautiful with breathtaking views. It has everything you need. The bottle of Rum with mixers in the refrigerator was a very nice touch. Just minutes to Sugar Beach which is very private or Coki Beach. Alex sent lots of information that really helps if you've never been to St. Thomas before. If you need a taxi call Owen Prosper 340-998-5158. He was so nice and we really enjoyed riding with him. Island Time Pub in Red Hook has the best pizza around. The seafood at Fish Tails was great. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to visit again.

Amazings views in a beautiful condo!

We loved our stay at Alexandra's condo at the Pleasant Point Resort! The condo is beautiful and very comfortable with very modern and updated features! The views from inside and outside are amazing! The patio is right over the water. Pleasant Point Resort is also very nice with beautiful grounds, two pools and a very nice restaurant. I would recommend having a car. There is a small beach at the resort, but there is so much to see on the island, that having a car will really make your stay more enjoyable. We loved Megan's Beach and a day trip to St. John is a must! Alexandra is a fantastic host! The condo was well stocked with snacks, coffee, tea, condiments, etc. Communication with her was easy and immediate. We would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely condo, great views

This is a lovely little condo with a stunning view of Smith Bay and the islands (especially at sunset). It was very clean, well-equipped, and well-maintained. We greatly enjoyed listening to the waves lap against the shore while relaxing or drifting off to sleep. Alex, the owner, was very communicative and helpful. There were some issues with hurricane repairs and she went out of her way to accommodate us. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the complex still has some work to do recovering from Hurricane Irma. The poolside bar and cafe are still closed and they are still repairing roofs and decking, but overall this is a great place to spend time on the East End of St. Thomas.

Amazing condo!!

We would like to first just thanks Alex, the place is amazing, location is great. And the sunrise from the bed I can’t even describe!! It is indescribable if you decide to stay in Alex’s condo you will not regret staying here!! The property itself is beautiful! She was so very nice and Helpful on our vacation. She gave us tips on great places to visit,Eat, drink. anything you need to know about St Thomas. Staying there was the best place to stay! Definitely going back soon

Alex's B-12 at Point Pleasant

Nice place. Lived up to description on VRBO. Very clean and comfortable. They left us some food and rum. That was a nice touch. We did not cook much but they have the usual kitchen staples if you want to cook. The island and the resort are still being rebuilt after all the storm damage but the work at the resort did not detract from our enjoyment. The sliding doors and screens at B-12 need replacement or extensive repairs but Alex's local caretaker got somebody to make some temporary repairs very promptly when we reported the problem. There is a very friendly skinny young black cat that hangs around B-12 and the nearby pool and stairs. Make sure to look for him if you go. He is very friendly. He looks like a stray but was clearly at one time somebody's pet. We thought he and his owner must have been separated by the storm damage.
