Enjoyable stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Smithy. The location was great & we had fun taking our 1 year old son to Trentham Monkey Forest & Amerton Farm. The only real disadvantage was that all the kitchen cupboards were low down & our son loved to play with them & their contents! But aside from having to keep a close eye on our son, the accommodation fitted our needs & we'd consider coming again next year

Lovely stay!

We had a great stay in The Smithy. The property was beautiful and had everything we needed. Rachael and family were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Our 1 year old loved feeding the horses and the pony too.

Luxury countryside pad

A tastefully, stylish property in countryside surroundings. Exceptionally well-run by Rachael and her husband, who are extremely helpful and accommodating. We found this property as needed somewhere close to family but we would definitely return for a getaway. Location pros - picturesque canalside walks, local pubs and amazing local farm shop. Highly recommend.

Brilliant stay in a beautiful property - highly recommend

I have just come back from a brilliant stay at the Stables & couldn’t recommend it more highly. The property was immaculate and there were some lovely touches. Rachael was a fantastic host & made everything very easy for us. Thanks heaps - we will definitely be visiting again!

Great host

Had a great weekend at Shirleywich Farm. Accommodation was tastefully decorated and extremely clean. Lots of good recommendations from Rachael, which was much appreciated. Had lovely walks along the canal to the farm shop each morning before breakfast and a great day out at Cannock Chase. Would definitely Stay again if visiting this area.

Pristine, cozy and with all modern life needs covered

We had a great time even in the middle of winter. the place is handy to get to, but also in the middle of the countryside, so lots of walks, rivers, the canal... The barn was really clear and warm, and had all commodities you need. Rachel was lovely and recommended us some walks round the area too. Originally we only went there to attend the Bird show, we didnt expect the area to be such a hidden gem! thanks for everything, and good luck with the business, you have worked hard enough, and results show it. I would definitely advise to book early.
