"We very much enjoyed our stay! Clean spacious room, and right in downtown! Helpful friendly staff. Nice coffee/tea options. Good ceiling fan as there is no air conditioning. Great place to stay!"

"Chsarming, "rustic elegaance" style boutique hotel. Staff were fantastic and accommodating. I came down for dinner at 9:10 pm but service had closed at 9 pm. The person at the front desk went to the kitchen, came back to ask if i a particular meal was okay and had it delivered to my room. Room was comfortable with a great bed and blackout curtains, and a well appointed bathroom. Minor notes: there was no coffee in the room, only tea, and the A/C "whoosh" sound was louder than I would have liked to the point where I turned off the fan at bedtime. Temperature in the room stayed pleasant all night despite this. This would be a "go-to" hotel for me on future visits to the area."

"Great location and fun decor. The hotel was not as crisp as it was a couple years ago when I stayed there. Most notable the carpet on the stairs was tattered and the elevator was tired. The rooftop bar was closed for a private event and no restaurant was open when we arrived in the afternoon both of which were disappointing and made it difficult to use the resort credit. Also - wish they had a small gym."

"Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. Walking distance to the Stanford Shopping Center and close to other shops and restaurants and to Stanford. The hotel pool and spa are well maintained. There’s poolside dining available. There’s a nice coffee bar in the morning in the lobby and the best chocolate chip cookies in the evening. The reception team is welcoming and helpful. I appreciated having a decent size fridge in the room. The beds are comfortable. I’m a light sleeper so being near the train was a concern but we heard nothing. It was much quieter than the chain hotels in the area. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and I plan to stay here again."

"This is a nice property. The rooms & grounds were well kept. Parking was convenient & safe. The room was nice & clean, the lighting was dim, giving it the feel of a cottage. We were given the choice of how often we wanted our room cleaned which was a really nice option. There was no road noise in our room even though it’s close to a busy street. There is no iron in the room but it did have a steamer which would work with lightweight items, not dresses or dress shirts that must be pressed to look their best. However, I didn’t ask to see if an iron & ironing board were available, so that might be an option & worth asking about. When housekeeping came it was always while we were out & it was back to perfection by the time we returned. The continental breakfast was pretty standard & had a quaint dining area to eat in, away from the busyness of the from desk. The staff was friendly & helpful. There was a timing issue for our booked stay, on our part, so we had to book two separate stays. The staff made that transition easy. Our flight was delayed over 3 hours, making our arrival after midnight. Again, the staff was friendly & helpful. All in all, we will definitely stay here again. Thanks for making our special trip so easy."
