“It was a very hot weekend so the solitary aircon really struggled to cool the rest of the house. Stove was really old and would have appreciated some instructions on how to use that or the pizza oven. Bbq ignition button didn’t work either. Fruit trees outside were nice and my daughter enjoyed the emus next door.”

“It was a pleasant surprise to arrive at the facility which is surrounded by magnificent trees, gardens and the historical buildings that Beechworth is famous for. It is only a short walk into the Main St and lake or an easy drive, it was a pleasure to stay here. Although the room was very small it fulfilled my needs as I was a solo traveller”

“We have stayed at Alpine River Cottages many times over the years, and for a good reason. The location is central to both Bright and Myrtleford, without the business of either town. The cottages overlook the tranquil Ovens River, where in Summer you can swim and enjoy the natural surrounds. This time, we received a surprise, an upgrade to the new cottage—a self-contained tiny house with a view of the Mountain and the beautiful river. Warm and cosy, we had peace and quiet.
