“The Halston is a beautiful venue and our townhouse was amazing and very clean, well equipped, staff were great and very helpful. Breakfast in their hotel and dinner in Penny Blue restaurant were delicious.”

The grounds are beautiful and has a lovely outdoor seating area for warmer days. House is cozy, well equipped kitchen and lots of games - large living room. Beds are very comfortable. Hosts are delightful - will be back!!”

“We arrived early so had a drink in the bar, check in was at 4 but they started to let people check in at 15:40, it was smooth and there were no issues, the lady was friendly and very helpful. As we got to the lodge the main entrance was covered in bird poo, that had definitely been left there a while, we did notice 3 nest right above the door which could not be help but it was obvious there had been no attempt to clean the poo, we went back to reception and showed them photos to which we were……

“We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!”

Bezoek de in bont zandsteen opgetrokken kathedraal en het aan de noordkant van de stad gelegen kasteel dat centraal staat in de Engels Schotse geschiedenis. Carlisle is een ideale springplank voor de bezoeken aan het Lake District.”
