Disappointment. For the price, this unit was pretty old. Straight out of 1988, the unit's decoration and feel was that of the late-eighties to early 90's. The master bathroom would FREEZE, and the heat wasn't working in there. Water would come out BOILING hot, but then go cold. If you try to adjust there is just no in-between. So, you walk into a tiny freezing bathroom, to take a terrible shower. Torture. Bedroom dresser drawers will fall on your feet if you aren't careful! That's right - they easily pull out of the dresser, and just fall out. It's ridiculous. Want the fireplace on? Well, it's not up to you. Even when correctly adjusting the thermostat for the fireplace above room temp as instructed, the fireplace will not come on. But if you're lucky it will sporadically for a few minutes at a time. Bring your own air freshener, the sheets and towels smell like they haven't been washed well. Maybe with not enough soap or for not long enough. So they're scratchy, small, and unrefreshing. The guest bedroom smells like the carpet hasn't been replaced in the while. It's got a human sweat, uncirculated, stink that is sooo unwelcoming. Speaking of unwelcoming, the heater at the front door doesn't work. So, the little entry way is always cold. The blinds at to the back patio that faces the Lodge's main office area/drop off/pick up were not present - as if they were damaged, but never replaced. The clips to hold the blinds in place are there, but not the blinds themselves. So much for your privacy. And finally, I guess this place is pet friendly, because my ski pants, and anything that hit the floor was covered in dog hair. I guess the vacuuming just can't get it all. Not to mention the potty odor eliminator in the pantry... We all had sinus and allergy trouble. Anyway, I'm exhausted typing this... there is more, but it's more minor... like the breakfast room table is so loose you can lean on it because the table top may fall over! OKAY I'll stop. DO NOT STAY HERE! Spend your money elsewhere.
