Stedelijk Museum

Great modern room, excellent location.

Everything about this property is unique and next level. Right away the staff was great and got us acquainted with our room and gave us a small tour of the property. Nicknamed the garden room, our room was themed after a doctor that created the modern hospital. In it, was a marvelous (and kinda creepy) life sized metal skeleton artwork. The shower area opened to a private patio where we ate the delicious included breakfast. And the highlight was the trick bed, that hid the nightstand, safe, coffee bar, refrigerator, and 55” tv. Overall great location, amazing and friendly staff, and very good recommendations for food and our boat tour. It’s about a block from a street trolley station which took us conveniently in the two directions we always wanted to go. Stayed in hundreds of hotels throughout the years, this is top 5 because it’s so weirdly awesome.

The ID Aparthotel is situated in a great location making it very easy to get around Amsterdam by public transport. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was clean, fully equipped, and perfect for our needs and the overall accommodation facilities were great. Although we didn't try the breakfast, we did visit the restaurant for an evening meal and very much enjoyed it. I found the standout in staying here was actually the staff. From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome. Everyone working on the reception desk were happy to help each day with reccomendations, directions, or even just a genuinely friendly greeting. I'd happily stay here again on any future visits to the city.
