This property is located at an exit that is a little secret hide away. It is the only hotel and there is a truck stop across the street with 4 different fast food restaraunts in it.
The staff were super friendly.
They have a big field for your pet to play or walk in.
The breakfast was perfect with all of the normal items.
The room and bed were great.
The only negative is the workout room, it is just a bike and a treadmill and a couple of dumbbells.
Overall, it was a great value for the price, with a nice quiet exit to get a peaceful nights sleep.
Good stay. Bed was comfy. Good place for people on the road.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
We only stayed overnight. The price was a little high, breakfast was poor, juice dispenser was broken, very small selection of breakfast items.
They are one of the only "Chain" hotels in quite an area. As a result, they have guests and offer a very good option to the Mom & Pop type of motels. These other hotels charge similar rates with less or less desirable amenities. As a result, this hotel offers a better value for the customer.
Parking was safe and easy. There is a lot of traffic noise from Interstate 94 if your room is on the north side. Breakfast is ok. We went across the street and ate at the travel center for breakfast.
Nice, clean and quiet. Enjoyed our stay with complimentary breakfast and nice area to eat and interact with others. Easy in and out access and check in/out.
The bed was very comfortable. The room and public areas were sparkling clean! It was in the middle of nowhere in that there weren’t any restaurants and it was right off the highway. I if you’re driving by Steele, it’s a great place to stay!
Traveling with 5 other family members. Clean, comfortable beds. TV was very hard to w maneuver through channels. Front desk person wasn't real friendly.
This was a find! A pleasant, spotless room with all standard amenities in a remote region of ND with very few services. The building was nice and new and had mini versions of all facilities such as breakfast, exercise room, and lounge. There's also a wonderful little travel plaza just steps away.
The only problem was dragging my luggage up a flight of stairs. If this is an issue for you, request a first floor room.
The host was extremely rude. I prepaid for our room and he still gave up my room and gave me a single instead of a double (I had three people with me). So, we all decided to sleep together in the same bed :)
The hotel rooms were nice enough and the beds were comfortable. The only real issue was the giant black streak of mold that was along the top of the shower. Not mildew. I know the difference. Something like that doesnt just appear over night so it made me a little leery about my stay there.
There was a lot of confusion at check-in. I had prepaid and he was trying to charge my credit card again. He wasn’t understanding that you can prepay hotels.com. There was an old credit card on file at hotel that he tried to charge. Thankfully it was expired. It overall room was clean and breakfast was okay. Iwe were very annoyed at checkin.
The property is at the best spot to stay in Steele. You will be walking distance from the only food options in town other than the local vets building- Coffee Cup truck stop, which has a Subway, Pizza Hut, Caribou Coffee and Cinnabon. The rooms were modest but clean, the showers ran hot, and the breakfast and coffee provided were decent. The only MASSIVE issue is the absolutely belligerent front desk host/manager/owner?
Don't bother filling out the hotel's prompts for pre check in, which includes giving out your personal info, because he will quite literally yell at you that he does not care what the Cobblestone website/texts/emails say, he will not honor any of it. He says there are many Cobblestones, and this one is his and "online is different". This hotel is run by someone that knows that you have zero other options in the area, so you can't do anything about it except accept your fate.
It's a pity, because the rest of the staff seemed incredibly friendly and everyone in town was absolutely lovely.
