“Staff were very attentive, polite and explained what needed to know, checked us in very quickly and show to our room. Room was clean and stocked with pkenty of tea, coffee etc. Bed was very comfortable and nice fresh bedding and towels, toiletries were supplied. Food in the restaurant was very nice and a good price and generous portions. ”

“What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. They accommodated us by making take away breakfast boxes because we had to leave early. Typical pub/inn with typical pub food. Under new management, so they were adjusting. The location was perfect, right in town and we got there early enough to get parking on site. ”

“Room was very clean , staff were very friendly especially the young guy on reception. He explained where the best place was to watch the carnival. Great with my grandson who was disappointed he didnt get to say goodbye . Hotel is a little dated but didn't ruin our stay. The only moan i have is that the room was very hot and not thermostat. ”

“This hotel has a nearly five hundred year history that is lovingly preserved by its friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. Centrally located in Glastonbury, it is a cosy community space frequented by locals and pilgrims alike. The hotel is a wonderful place to enjoy a drink in its bar or spend the night in one of its comfortable rooms. As to whether it is haunted, well, stay the night and find out for yourself. Either way, It is a genuine pleasure.”

“The room was lovely and quirky old fashioned with original features. Bathroom nice and clean staff were so polite and helpful. Only issue was tv was set with a reminder to change channel spoke to staff they thought it was rectified but happened for second night not an issue as stay was relaxing and enjoyable. ”
