Cliffside at the Gate: Lakefront, pool and Basketball/Pickleball Court

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful property inside and out! Just as the pictures show. Plenty of room, nicely stocked, wonderful amenities. Not close to grocery or shopping, so plan ahead, but house has 2 large refrigerators and freezers and plenty of cabinets and storage for food. Had a terrific long weekend getaway!"

Executive Inn

8/10 Good

"So lets be frank, this is a classic old school motel built probably before most people reading this was even born. The outside may not the most eye appealing, but its ok. The lady at the desk was very nice. The doors have been updated to keyless entry. Inside the room I was impressed. Its a small room, but it does what a motel should do. Sleep, shower, leave. The room was very well kept and clean. The flooring looked new, and if not, it is maintained. There was absolutely no foul or bizarre smells inside the room. The rooms have an old school built in window unit for a/c. It took a few minutes, but it did get really chilled in the room. The bed was firm and I slept pretty good. I wasn't bothered by any outside noises. I was able to park right in front of my room. I that about motels b/c I travel with a lot of stuff that I have to unload and reload when leaving. I think the price was a little much for this place, but in the long run it was good stay."

Spacious Getaway ~ 12 Acres, Views, & Hot Tub!

10/10 Excellent

"Secluded and beautiful property. Very convenient for day trips to Palo Pinto Mountains and Possum Kingdom State Parks. Loved the Roadrunner greeting us in the morning and evenings. Great amenities, well stocked kitchen, it was a wonderful experience."
