“In the hustle and bustle of the electrical contracting world, this place was a perfect retreat from the grind. The hot tub was amazing and the views were even better. The cabin was very comfortable and the AC worked very well and thank goodness it was 100 most of the week. Will be taking other adventures soon and you’ll be at the top of the list for communicating on future endeavors.!”

“I hate giving negative reviews, however.... Upon arrival, access was very easy. The owner/ property manager provided clear and concise information. The property was easy to access, but definitely use a 4 wheel vehicle. However, the online photos of the property are deceptive. The cabin is not as rural as one would think. The building has much more wear than depicted. The deck is high above the ground and the boards are warped with openings. It did not feel safe. The gutters had plants……

“We absolutely lived it! I grew up on a farm and unfortunately have been stuck in urban/suburban places for the last 13. It was so wonderful to be right in the middle of an adorable farm with all the fuzzy and feathered friends!! The tiny house is beautifully and thoughtfully done. All the comforts of home, and then some! The hosts were so warm and welcoming. We only wish we had stayed longer, honestly. We were too late in deciding and it had already been booked. Next time, we will stay longer!……

“No pet, several items needed repair. No extra blankets or quilts. Heat wasn't working. Manager communicated well. Finally moved to different rental.”

“The house has real potential, but also has real problems. It needs some maintenance in a major way. The toilet won’t flush. The faucet in the bathtub fell off. The grill had not been cleaned in so long that it broke out into a fire. When communicated these problems with the host, the response was I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We will have our handyman fix it after you leave. Frankly, I wanted it fixed while we were there. They also did not provide the necessary materials for cleaning dishes.……

“Absolutely charming cabin - clean, comfortable and with lovely amenities.”

“Amazing view and well appointed home. We had everything we needed and plenty of space to relax and spread out in. Loved the loft bedroom and fire pit - but the best part was the sunset right out front.”

“My husband and I stayed at this property for a wedding Memorial Day weekend. The place was comfortable cozy and close! We had an issue with the booking and day of the arrival that was dealt with promptly and professional with the owner. Communication was terrific to navigate this miscommunication and the owner made sure that we were able to attend all of the wedding events without compromise. He even offered to allowed us a late check out that was very helpful. I would highly recommend this……

“A wonderful place to relax and enjoy being with family or friends, with lots of room for the dogs to run and play!”

“Great place in a beautiful part of the country! Super quiet, well furnished, and a lovel place to spend some time. Hot tub was great and there's a small creek a few minutes away to catch crawfish and cool off. Highly recommended.”

“Perfect getaway for our family.”

“The house was very clean and provided everything that we needed for our stay (sheets, towels, kitchen supplies, etc). The location was perfect and matched our needs - out of the way but near Charles Town, Harpers Ferry, and the Appalachian Trail. The hosts communicated well and were easy to work with making booking and checkout especially easy.”

“I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but this was just a really, really bad stay. This cabin needs a major overhaul. Check in was at 4, while driving to the cabin we got a text from the host saying the cleaner was going to have to drop in for 20 mins max, to clean a “pet stain” unsure of arrivals time but they would be gone before 9. So we were off to a bad start, but I was still hopeful. Upon arriving to the cabin, we were met with a very pungent odor as soon as we opened the door, smelling……
