「Our family of 5 had a great visit to Munising. Everything in the property listing was exactly as promised with the exception that the second room with three twins had recently been converted to two. Kindly, the property manager gave our girls access to the bunk house which was greatly appreciated. My 11-year old could have stood at the little beach area for three days straight throwing rocks. Had a blast. As described well in other reviews, this is right off the highway and next to boats taking...

「Everything about this place was amazing. The cabin was in a beautiful remote location. It was renovated and decorated beautifully. The cabin was well stocked with everything you would need. The kids loved the little playground and searching for treasures at the beach. We had to go down just a bit to get a sandy beach for swimming which was not a bad walk at all. The owners communication was great as well. We will definitely be coming back and can’t wait for the next stay! 」

「The cabin is small, but efficiently arranged with everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the hot water in the shower is amazing! And the neighborhood is quiet and scenic, just a short drive to numerous restaurants and things to do!」

「My husband and I and my sister and brother in law spent three nights in our handicap accessible cabin. It was clean and comfy. My only suggestions would be a bar to assist getting the tub and ceiling fans in the bedrooms.」

「Loved the location. Very private and quiet. The only thing wrong was we had to clean the grill before we could use it. It had to be taken apart and scraped out so much funk. Also the goose poop was bad the last night we stayed and couldnt sit outside which was a real bummer. I messaged multiple times and never heard back from owners」

「Need many things to organize & finish. It is new & clean. Not ON the trail. The trail is assessable along a 4-lane highway. Trailer area is 10 min drive away. Problem getting hot water, not having correct room, no closet, dresser or hooks so could put anything away. Would consider again later in the future. 」

「This was exactly what my family and I needed to have a wonderful stay in the U.P. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed (washer/dryer were so nice to have also!!)We enjoyed fishing on the dock (caught quite a few fish) and my kids even completed a puzzle to kill some time in the evening. There weren’t really any neighbors during our time there, which made for a quiet and peaceful stay. Only complaint the amount of mosquitoes outside the cottage. Otherwise, this was by far the nicest...

「Quick response from host, shared lots of information about area. House was as described, perfect for family」

「This cabin was great for our family. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep. The location is close to many hikes, kayaking, boat tour and Munising.」

「My family of 5 adults 2 kids and 2 large dogs all fit comfortably in the cabin. We all enjoyed camp fires, fishing from the dock, and taking the boats onto the lake. The location is peacful with no close by neighbors and about a half hour drive to Lake Superior. I was worried about bugs (house is located in the woods) but was pleasantly surprised the house didnt have spiders or cob webs inside at all. Lots of mosquitoes by the water so dont forget your bug spray. I would recommend this property...

「The lake is quiet and far enough from the touristy parts of the area to be peaceful and uncrowded, but close enough to stuff that you're not driving endlessly to get to civilization. The mattresses are super comfortable, and we really had everything we needed to just chill out.」

"The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
