「My family and I had the most amazing stay at this cottage. It was clean and extremely comfortable and the views were spectacular! Our host left us the most amazing scones and a bottle of wine which we all thought were very good. The scones were absolutely delicious The beds were extremely comfortable and the log burner and hot tub added some extra delights. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and hope to stay again. Communication with the owner was excellent. 」

「Beautiful setting, in woodlands beside a small lochan. Peaceful, but close to nearby Killin, which is a great highlands village with all necessary shops. Cottage was warm and welcoming and well equipped. Wood burning stove a really nice touch. Very well located for walks, climbing and general sightseeing.」

「The location was amazing! Easy walk into town and not too much traffic on the road. Aberfoyle is a great town with several food options and access to a lot of activities. There is a grocery store within walking distance too. The apartment itself was nice with basic amenities. I would have given it 5 stars if it was better stocked. We had no real complaints and recommended this as a nice place to stay.」

「It was a nice place to stay, comfortable and everything i needed was available like an iron which is a must for me. The only problem i had was the bed was too soft which made it very uncomfortable for me to sleep in but other thsn that it was a nice little house.」

「We booked 3 nights for a quick quiet break, honestly we wish we could have stayed for 3 weeks! Our pod was beautiful and very cosy, the area was quiet and peaceful and there was so much to see and do, we were spoilt for choice! And to top it off, not only did the host contact me after I left my glasses behind on checkout day, they sent them back to me in the post. We will definitely be back!」

「Absolutely amazing stay at Appletree. Murray and Ally couldn’t be more helpful, even helping us out after a puncture and shuttling us to the house. The cottage is sparkling clean and has everything you need, great local info from hosts on restaurants and activities. We stayed for 1 week and could’ve easily stayed longer, the weather was excellent and we enjoyed the garden in the morning and early evening. Local pubs and restaurants a short walk or taxi away.
