Quaint cosy cottage in a stunning location

The cottage is on a good location for seeing Winchester, Stockbridge amd the Army Flying Museum. It could benefit from some redecoration in places but overall it is well equipped and comfortable. It is dog friendly with an enclosed safe garden. The pub in the village is lovely, friendly, pool table and an evening menu.

Great for a weekend break

Had good weather so we did a lot of walking with the dogs around the local area in some lovely countryside Good curry at the White Hart

Lovely thatched cottage

We had a lovely time, the house was great, the area beautiful with a couple of local pubs, great dog walks. Great for peppa pig world, Stonehenge, with Bournemouth, and Bath within easy reach.

Great little cottage

Perfect mid location for various family members to meet. Great cottage with what we needed, lovely village and walking location. Lovely touch leaving a pie and eggs for us arriving.

Lovely thatched cottage in pretty village

We enjoyed a lovely week in a great house, facilities were excellent and the property well spec'd and clean throughout. Check-in and Check-out was also very smooth. 100% recommend.

Pretty thatched cottage

This lovely cottage provided perfect accommodation for the four of us to catch up in relaxed surroundings. Thanks to the owner for providing a few unexpected extras such a cereals, eggs, crumpets etc.

Dream Cottage!

Absolutely wonderful cottage. I fell in love instantly and enjoyed every moment here. You will never want to leave! Very spacious, with a beautifully maintained enclosed garden. We spent the evenings waking in the wood nearby to St Peter’s church.

Lovely cottage, well placed for the Test

Our second visit and as last year, we found the cottage comfortable and well located. Steeped in character, an ideal base for our fishing trip. The White Hart pub, a two minute stroll away, is excellent for well priced food and beer. Many thanks.

Wonderful cosy country cottage

We had a wonderful stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, cosy and well equipped. Loved a glass of red wine and a good book by the log burner. Excellent location in a quiet beautiful village. Managed to explore, 50mins to Longleat, 45mins to Lyndhurst and 40mins to Paultons park. Nick was very helpful and we hope to return.

Charming quaint peaceful

Always wanted to stay in a thatched cottage and it didn’t disappoint it was quaint charming an peaceful . The fire was lovely garden secure as we had a dog .The pub was walking distance almost on door step . Bed was very comfortable .

Lovely, quirky cottage which ticked our bucket list to stay in a thatched cottage. However, being two less mobile elderly people we found the uneven floors, low ceilings and steep stairs a challenge.

Lovely location and cottage. Very comfy beds! Would just recommend a little cleaner, storage in the middle room and although towels were not supplied a hand towel in the bathroom would of been appreciated. Despite this the cottage was beautiful and we had such a fabulous weekend.

A lovely cosy stay

This property is lovely, well equipped and has lots of character. We enjoyed time as a family by the fire or around the farm-house style kitchen table. The only areas for improvement would be for the bathroom to be a bit cleaner. Also, the larger of the 2 single beds was on a slight slope (the other one was very narrow), so this room would be better suited to young children. Overall, a great stay and good base to explore the lovely area.

Lovely cottage, great location

Location was excellent and the cottage was quaint and cosy. Perfect for our pooch with great walks on the doorstep. Only niggles were the stairs and bathroom. If you have old knees the stairs will be a challenge. Also the bath has very high sides so getting in and out the shower was quite a feat.
