Gamla Stan was absolutely beautiful and a dream vacation - staying at this location made it even better! Having a beautiful space for the whole family to come back to in this walkable gem of a city was a dream! Hope to return again soon!

Quiet and in a great location, it's been a few years since I've lived in a 3rd floor walk-up, but the stairs are fine once you got your suitcase in your apartment. The kitchen has tea, coffee, and dishwashing detergent, and if you need anything else, there's a Coop in the train station. Towels are provided, but you'll need your own soap and shampoo. My only issue was with the drooping showerhead, but it's detachable.

We stayed here in November. The apartment was toasty warm and spotlessly clean. Despite being 1 bedroom, it was a great size and very comfortable. Superb location in Gamala Stan, very close to the metro. We stayed on the top floor and while there was a little noise from the pub, it wasn't too bad. Steps were great for cardio and your step count! The pub was super cosy and did great beer. It would be good if the wifi password could be left in a prominent place, but a quick email sorted that out. Very good service. The ability to book any early/late check in is very useful. Overall great stay, thank you.

We enjoyed the apartment as it was spacious and the kitchen was equiped. The only caution to older travellers is the stone stairs with no elevator. Challenging for suitcases. Location is great, close to walk to most sites.

Right in the heart of it all

Well appointed and comfortable. Pull out sofa is perfect and there was also an extra rollaway bed which we did not need. We were in unit 4 (1st floor) facing street. This is located above 2 bars and it it’s good to know that you will hear noise without ear plugs. Weekends it goes til 4am but it didn’t bother us. Building slopes a bit and I could feel it which some people are mired sensitive to than others so be aware. Very convenient location. Water taxi is accessible from Gamla Stan or walking to mainland is easy too. Lots of restaurants and shops and historical areas within walking distance. Weekend guided tours of Gamla Stan is common and a good idea since the buildings have so much history.

Great Location!

You can’t beat the location, is perfect between restaurants, museums and walking anywhere. There is no elevator so be careful with full size suitcases. And it was weird to not have paper towels in the kitchen 😁

Lovely downtown apartment

Lovely apartment in the old village of Stockholm. Near to shops, restaurants, and the metro for Gamla Stan. Plenty of space for a family of 5 and had everything we needed in the kitchen.

Really nice and spacious property in the centre of Gamala Stan. You can walk into the centre of Stockholm without thinking and walk to local transport. Really nice customer service when I called to check my information.

Gamla Stan Apartment

Terrific people to work with and great value for the money. Centrally located in Stockholm. Two flights of stairs, no lift, the only downside. A good bit of street noise until about 1am. Reasonable trade off for the central location.

The apartment right in the historical centre was amazing and stylish. We enjoyed a lot staying there. Only parking was challenging and some instructions on the congestion charge system and on how to find well suited Park&Ride options would have been helpful (we found a good and cheap one in Enskedehallen at the Gullmarsplan station). And one more chair at the kitchen table would have been beneficial. We also did not manage to switch on the TV, but WLAN was working perfectly.

Excellent location in old town with easy access to shopping, sighntseeing, restaurants, and the subway. The flat was neat and cute. However, the bathroom was very small making hard to maneuver. It would have been nice to get instructions how the heat and TV worked and also to be warned about the 6 am cleaning of the pub below (glass bottles thrown out and dragging of furniture). Otherwise great place!

Vibrant apartment in the heart of Old Stockholm

Great Gamla Stan location, minutes from the cathedral and palace and just across the river from the central station and the boat tours. The apartment we stayed in was directly above a pub, so we were expecting rowdy nights, but the only issue we had was the 7AM keg deliveries and glass recycling din. This is to be expected in a working urban environment so it’s not a complaint, just an observation. The apartment itself was perfect for a couple. The kitchen was well equipped (even came with earplugs!), the bathroom was cramped but functional, the bed was very comfortable. The only negatives were occasional smells of the city wafting in from the street (again, to be expected and accepted) and the door to the old apartment let in cigarette smoke from the hallway.

Large, clean easy property on the top floor. No elevator, so a lot of stairs everyday but we knew that when we booked. Views only of rooftops and courtyards but also not something we minded. The second 'bedroom' was the living room, the sofa pulled out so it would have been nice to have the second bedroom seperate from the living room but for the size, price and location, again it was fine. The main bed was a bit cheap and moved away from the wall a lot. The bathroom was nice, hot water could have been a bit hotter, the hooks were just fancy stick ons so no heavy hanging toiletry bags can be hung. The apartment was well equipped. Coffee percolator, iron, ironing board, toaster, pots pans, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer and extra toilet rolls in the medicine cabinet. The location was fantastic in Stockholm old town, metres away from everything you need. A 7-eleven and a metro supermarket nearby, and lots of tourist shops, cafes and restaurants. The train station and ferry station very close by. The pictures of the building entrance and the contactless instuctions of how to get into the building/apartment even for late arrivals was super easy. Some complaints were that it was noisy. Perhaps that is only in the Summers when you have the windows open or if you are on the first floors. We stayed for a week over new years and the only time we heard anything was on New Years Eve which is to be expected! Overall very pleased. Location really is fantastic.

the location of this apartment was excellent, my only concern was there is no lift we have to carry our check in luggage to the 2nd floor on our own after walking from the central station while it was raining. But so far we had all our needs, bed is comfy and cozy, it is clean.

Okay if there is no mention of an elevator there isn’t one. So four stories of cruel, curving, stone steps. But unit itself well kept, basic but will all needed in superb location. Manager also extremely helpful, timely and professional.

We had a wonderful 1 bedroom apartment for a week in July 2025. It was very clean and had everything we needed except for filters for the coffee maker (store was a 5 minute walk away…no big deal). Great location. You walk out the door and are right in the thick of it. Cafes, restaurants and pubs all along the surrounding streets. Quick walk to the train or water taxis. Building is older which adds to the charm with old floors and windows. It can be noisy as you are the middle of the touristy part of the city. Do not recommend if you have problems with stairs as there are no elevators.

Overall quality, location and supprt were excellent. Highly recomemded. Two improvement points: the dual wasing\drying machine gives poor results on both account. Either have two selarate machine or take it out of property. Put a set of instructions in welcome email or property for the electric stove and the kitchen lighting remote operated
