“House had a cat pee smell. There was not enough toilet paper. Kitchen table was not clean. Kitchen amenities need replaced (pans rusty and scratched, few utensils). Not enough bath towels, and were stained. No dishwasher, I think it mentioned there was one. Bed was comfy. View was nice.”

“We celebrated our daughter's graduation from Harding University at this beautiful vacation home!! Most of our time was spent in the sunroom enjoying the view of the Little Red River. It was so peaceful and quiet, none of us wanted to leave!!! Some of our highlights were sitting by the fire pit and making s'mores, playing pingpong, watching the fireflies, bbq'ing, kayaking, taking walks, and enjoying the charm of this beautiful home. “The overall cleanliness of cabin was clean except for under the bed was filthy. The host responded to me in a timely fashion. I would not have booked this cabin if I had known it faced the main house and was separated by a small drive way. The property is also on the market and it was shown to prospects during our visit. The lack of privacy was disappointing. The man that stayed in the main house watched us the entire time we were down at the lake making our experience very awkward. I would not……

“If you want quiet , peaceful this is your place. No Wifi so all u have is DvD , we took kids so they weren’t happy about that but it was good they had to find other things to do, they have lots of games. Over all nice place. Trouble getting in the key thing doesn’t work well!!!”

“This cabin is in the community of cabins of the old “Pinewood Cabins”. Trying to book with pinewood was impossible and stressful so by luck I found “The Old Home Place” on VRBO. Booking was a breeze and I would book again with this host. It is a beautiful and well equipped cabin and is in walking distance of downtown, although it is on the lower side of the hill so you would be walking uphill for a bit to get to the main st. It has uphill concrete steps to get up to the porch, so keep that in……

“The cabin was very clean and had everything that we needed. We have stayed several times before and will definitely book a cabin again. The host always answered my request with a rapid turnaround. We love walking downtown to the square and picking park. We loved all the entertainment during our stay on Memorial Day weekend. This little getaway was a wonderful experience.”
