“This is a perfect place to relax. The beds are wonderful. The host goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. His breakfast was outstanding. The cottage has two porches to relax and have a glass of wine, read a book, or just have a quiet conversation. Any time you are in Natchez, MS. You need to stay at Stone House with your host, Joe Stone.”

“Our host, who doesn't live in the house, gave us free run of the place since no one else had rented the other bedroom. The place was comfortable but not updated. Our host was very pleasant and accommodating and we enjoyed visiting with her. She provided us with a nice breakfast using eggs from her own hens.”

“The owner of the house, Colleen was like an angel. My grandmother lived in the same neighborhood as Sunnyside and I had no idea and I know she would be happy that I ended up in the Hands of such a beautiful soul. She cooks like an amazing southern chef and is so hospitable. She has two very friendly and beautiful dogs and makes you feel right at home. I came for a family reunion and I think I added to the family! My husband and I are extremely happy and we can’t wait to come back!”

“We were disappointed with the condition of our room. The furnishings were very nice (and realizing it's an historic building) it just looked very tired, the walls, bathroom, etc. At least our room did. In addition there was an adjoining door to the room next door that didn't block the sound at all from that room. You could hear just about everything coming from there. After coming back from diner we found ourselves locked out of the building as the coded keypad to the front door wasn't……

“Check in was very very slow. The luggage carts had under inflated tires almost impossible to push and guide. There was black stuff around the bathtub caulking. The windows overlooking the river were so dirty that you could hardly see outside. My phone rang 6 times throughout the night with no one there. The hotel unnecessarily employed two people to dish out breakfast foods in a buffet line to limit what you could eat. Then at checkout, they charged me and extra $18 plus tax as some me sort of……

“This property is in dire need of maintenance and repairs. One of the two elevators was broke, the ice machine on floor two was broken and our bed needs to be replaced. I compare this hotel to the one we stayed in at Gulfport. It just doesn’t measure up. Staff was very accommodating. They got us extra chairs for our room as the room only comes with one chair. They accommodated extra towels when needed. But I did notice some of the staff seemed very old and we caught one of them hiding in a……

“Breakfast was good but the overall property was not well kept up. The rooms were very dusty and carpets need replacing. AC worked well in one of our rooms but not very well in the other”
