「Central to the university. We needed to move our son from one house to another which was within easy distance. Parking private and next to hotel. Everyone courteous .」

「This hotel was probably state of the art 35/40 yrs ago. It’s very well photographed but in honesty… it’s awful. Rooms are worn out, carpets in places are threadbare. Bathroom had various it’s broken or loose. In the evenings was a constant smell of over cooked vegetables that was very unpleasant. Having spoken to locals it’s recently been taken over but it’s in need of HUGE investment I (and neither will my colleagues) definitely won’t be staying there again.」

「The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby....

「A flying visit arriving late in the evening and having to leave promptly after our breakfast. Having advised of the circumstances we were told that breakfast would be served promptly at 8 which would have allowed us to eat breakfast in time but another guest advised at 8 the chef had just arrived so breakfast was available from 8 but by the time it had been cooked we didn't have enough time to eat it. 「Lovely stay, everything you needed. Food was great, evening meal and breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only down side is the building is dated and there was no fridge in the room.」
