"Our second stay here, we love it so much! The staff are wonderful and our room (Cowslip) was spacious and a beautiful place to stay, with a lovely big comfy bed and lovely tea and coffee selection (and biscuits!) We had everything we needed. The food downstairs is always excellent and the pub and restaurant have a great, cosy atmosphere. Just a couple of tiny things to improve on - the shower head isn’t great (think possibly just needs a good clean) and an extension lead on the unit by the TV would be super helpful (or a longer cable for the kettle!) - I’d also appreciate softer pillows, but that’s a personal choice and other than that I have absolutely nothing negative to say and we will be back (wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Lakenheath) thank you! "

"Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked. Plenty of choice with continental breakfast too. Room was clean but a little tired in places. The shower head needed descaling but bathroom was pretty clean. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were all an added bonus to our stay and very clean as well. The staff were exemplary. Very polite, helpful and courteous. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and is very ornately decorated and furnished. A great base for exploring Suffolk. "

"A very tired hotel, rooms & spa facilities. Bedrooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. Our sink & bath didn’t drain. The hand soap dispenser didn’t work. The spa is exceptionally tired. Mould around the sinks. Breakfast had a good selection but it had all been sat out for some time. Overall, a disappointing stay I wouldn’t recommend it. "

"Excellent friendly staff very clean hotel though out the only thing that could have been better was the lunch and dinner menu not much choices also I noticed pool quite cold for me and shower and bath water was just warm not hot and I like a hot bath not a warm bath. "

"The room was in a neglected state , toilet didn’t flush properly, pillows paper thin, bed rock hard, walls thin, constant banging outside, room smelt damp , very bright flashing from smoke alarm right above bed all night ..a large group of us stayed here for one night and nobody slept well at all. Breakfast was poor choice (no vegetarian option) and took ages to refill when empty and they need more staff around the hotel "
