「We upgraded (paid extra) to reserve a higher level room. This turned out not to be an upgrade because when we arrived we realized 1 of the 2 elevators was not working. Later we were told 1 elevator was out because it hadn’t been inspected as it should be. After we arrived, checked in and settled in to our 9th floor room, we were notified BOTH elevators were out. We reached out to the front desk and were asked “you can’t take stairs?” From that point on, elevators were repaired and then back...

「I booked a “non smoking room” and was given a room that smelled like an ashtray. AND the blanket and bedspread both had cigarette burn holes in them. I have stayed at a number of motel 6’s but this one was by far the worst. I emailed the hotel but my email was never responded to. 」

「Stayed at this property during a recent visit to Charleston. Although we did have a few glitches with our room, the staff was attentive to our concerns and quickly made things right. The location is convenient while not quite downtown in the historic district. I give this hotel high marks for their customer service and overall hospitality - desk staff and management. 」

「The location and pool area were great. Our room (especially the floor) were not the cleanest. It was almost as if our corner room, were forgotten about prior to arrival. Unfortunately, there were no dressers in the room so our clothes remained in suitcases and in chairs the 5 nights we were there. So…the location was great, the pool are was clean and well kept, but the actual accommodations in the rooms were very disappointing. The front desk team were very nice and helpful…the cleaning team...

「Ok so I have major sleeping issues and have never been able to sleep in a hotel ever until this one! I slept like a baby for the first time ever. The bed was so comfy, but the air conditioner was super cold and had a louder sound which was perfect white noise. 」

「Scenic view in our bedroom is good but i suggest to clean there glass door so that you can really enjoy the view. Over all its good」
