“We booked Casa Sunzal at the last minute because our first accommodation was closed and canceled our reservation, but we couldn’t have been happier to end up at Casa Sunzal! The staff was so kind and helped us book surfing guides, board rentals, and a trip to Tamanique waterfall! The food was delicious and they were so accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!”

“The rooms were very spacious for a double bed room , very clean and smelled good! They accommodated us to a different room after we reported a faulty light and a leak in the bathroom . They were very prompt with repairs The staff was a bit short staffed at the restaurant later in the day so for dinner we just did room service . The rooms service was outstanding very quick and the food was delicious . We ordered a mar y Tierra (beef and shrimp ) at around 9:30 pm and they made it happen promptly……

“It's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me. When I was there there's was lots of construction; and there's also plenty of "banging" noise, which I think comes from something that falls out of the trees onto the tin roof of the rooms; that could be a……

“Este hotel es perfecto para escapaditas en pareja, perfecto para turismo rural. A mi esposa y a mí nos encantó la tranquilidad del lugar y ambiente rural y campesino de sus alrededores. El personal del hotel es atento y amable. Los felicito. Las instalaciones bien cuidadas y el tamaño de la habitación muy conveniente. Si nos extrañó que al momento de nuestro check-in nos dieron que faltaban $12.10 por cobrar. Yo les dije que "según Expedia" lo pagado era el total pero igualmente hubo que……

“I absolutely loved my stay here. The infinity pool was hands down my favorite part. It was relaxing and had an incredible view. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were kind, attentive, and made us feel safe the entire time. This place exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.”
