"The Torquay Hotel has an excellent location, and we really enjoyed the food and drinks—everything we tried was great. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel warm and easy. The room itself, however, was very old and definitely in need of updating. While it seemed generally clean, the carpets were quite worn and felt a bit gross. The bathroom had good water pressure, which was a plus, but the windows had a lot of spider webs around them, even though they were high up. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential thanks to its location, great staff, and solid food and drink options, but the rooms would really benefit from some refreshing and deeper attention to detail."

"The rooms are very spacious and well laid out. The resort has excellent facilities. Obviously you would benefit most if you are a golfer. The in-house gym and pool and fitness Centre is also excellent. "

"This was our second stay at this property and it didn’t disappoint. The property is very clean and has everything you need. Cupboards are all labeled so easy to find everything. Maureen is personable and is readily available and made the check in process easy. We will definitely stay here again."
