Nice apartment

Really enjoyed my stay at Villetts House, there was an initial mix up with communications, but that was sorted out quickly. The property is in the old centre of Swindon, with good access to bars and restaurants, and secure parking for your vehicle. This isn't a hotel, so there's no reception, if you have an issue you just need to contact Chris on the mobile number provided.

We love this apartment

We love this apartment - it is not the first time we have stayed here. The apartment is in a lovely Georgian grade II listed house in Old Town. We love the high ceilings, high windows and the way it has been converted to an apartment.

Not recommended! Worse stay in Swindon

Out of all my stays in Swindon.... where I travel every week and stay at the hotels and serviced apartments.... this was the worse stay amongst all. If you have an option, please opt for Godwin Court.... much much better than this property... Day 1.... when I entered.... it stank... if you got a car, opening the main door with a code is a struggle.. Unlike Godwin Court, this offers WEEKLY HOUSEKEEPING.... yes, you read it correctly .... NO DAILY CLEANING..... you pay to stay in a your own mess.... on top of all that.... you are expected to clean the apartment before your check-out.... never seen that anywhere. You are expected to spend a whole week with 2 bath and one hand towel! When you try explaining this to the landlord, that this doesn’t sound right..... he smacks your phone with a very long text mentioning his extensive experience in hospitality sector... which yo me is worthless as its clearly not evident from the service he is providing v/s the prices! Finally, if you are tall (I am 193 cms) ... the bed is not for you! Its a small double bed... Very very uncomfortable.... on top of that everytime I was walking out of the building, always ended up smacking my head on the staircase ceiling, which is really low!
