This delightful ground floor garden apartment is in a beautiful art-deco building in a top location, close to Bondi Beach and local eateries. It boasts ornate high ceilings and polished floorboards, has a natural flow to the outdoor deck, includes a lounge and separate dining, well-equipped kitchen, 2 x Queen bedrooms and a refurbished bathroom. With tasteful interiors and access to communal lawns at the end of the garden, it offers style, comfort and convenience.

The Sunnyhurst building houses only 4 apartments and this one’s on the ground floor with a coveted garden and outdoor eating space. The layout makes full use of the indoor-outdoor flow and benefits from an abundance of natural light.

The beautiful living room, with its ornate ceilings, original windows and textured feature wall, houses a comfortable sofa, two armchairs and a TV. Indoor plants and other occasional furniture add a stylish homely touch.

This flows through to the dining room and then the kitchen is through a wide opening to the right. The dining suite seats 6 and there is further ample seating round the large outdoor table on the deck visible just beyond through bifold doors. The kitchen is well-equipped and has a smart country vibe with its butlers sink and plate rack. There is everything you’ll need to cook and entertain, and it includes a dishwasher and microwave.

The covered deck is a terrific space, facing northeast, and looks out over the garden which has an outdoor shower and a gate to the communal lawned space, lending a sense of space and extended greenery.

At the front of the house are both bedrooms with Queen beds and doors between them. The bathroom, while proudly original, has been refurbished and has a shower over the bathtub, a vanity and toilet.

With WiFi included, a washing machine for your convenience and street parking available, it’s a great little apartment with a host of benefits. Don’t miss out!

This is a terrific location, in a quiet residential street. Follow Sir Thomas Mitchell Road down to Campbell Parade, just opposite the south end of Bondi Beach. A mere 7 minute walk to Sydney’s most iconic beach - you can’t beat that!

The list of cafes, restaurants and boutique stores in the surrounding area is long indeed. Ranging from high end eateries to pub food, there’s a cuisine represented from just about every nation. Enjoy a cocktail at Icebergs, wander up to Ravesi’s for breakfast on the balcony, enjoy a romantic meal at Sean’s at the north end of the beach. So much choice. The cafe culture is a thriving one, with an on-going competition for best brew.

The beach offers the full range of activities and more: from swimming and surfing to beach yoga and volleyball. Walk the full length of the beach on the sand or take the coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee. Explore Waverley Cemetery: it’s fascinating. End up at Coogee Hotel and enjoy a long lunch!

In need of some retail therapy? There are plenty of boutiques along the beach front, or take the bus to Bondi Westfield, one of the best shopping centres in Australia. The bus can also take you to Sydney centre with its full array of retail shops and tourist attractions.
