Great rooms. Updated and modern. Staff was terrific . It’s little out of the way from town . Dark roads. The breakfast was great. Would definitely come back .

Wonderful room, remote location.

Beautiful hotel rooms. The staff was wonderful. Hard to find in the back roads. Only complaint would be the towel situation. They wanted to charge us 5eur to exchange from a pool towel to a dry one . You only get 1 same towel per person for 2 days . Very strange .

Definitely not a 5 or 4 star. It felt like they stop on their way to finish the whole thing. It is nice but not nice. No pry told us check out is at 10 AM (I mean I travel non stop and NEVER saw a hotel with check out at 10. They wanted to charge us cause we left a few minutes late… since they didn’t tell us. Finally dinner was basic and overpriced. I would say 3 stars at max. I suggest you go elsewhere. Very hard to get too.

Understaffed!

This could, and should, be a good hotel but it was woefully understaffed on our visit. Dinner in the restaurant on the first night was poor - cold lasagne, overcooked spaghetti but the salad was fine. Several tables left and the staff were run off their feet. Breakfast the first two mornings was exactly the same but improved on third day. Bar staff lovely but overstretched helping in restaurant while three people sat at reception on their phones. Lacking staff and any visible management. Perhaps we just caught the hotel during a rough patch but have to say we were underwhelmed compared to the other hotels we stayed at on this trip.

Gammelt kloster med fin natur!

Et helt nydelig sted, hadde vært fint med litt mer info ved innsjekk, litt mangler her og der, treningsrom som manglet ledninger til utstyret så ingen av de kunne brukes, ingen omvisning eller forklaring ved innsjekk om hvor ting var. Dette er et gammelt kloster, hadde vært fint med litt info og historie om det. Men nydelige rom, kjempefint basseng området, nydelig mat og service i restauranten. Golfbane ikke i drift, men vi golfer ikke, subjekt greit det:) Men absolutt verdt et besøk, vakkert sted🙏

Par quoi commencer.... Nous sommes arrivés dans une chambre remplie de fourmis et une douche qui changeait de température toute seule. Nous nous sommes rendus à la réception afin de signaler ses problèmes. La réceptionniste, Valeria, très fermée air condescendant, ne souhaitait pas trouver de solution. prétextant qu'elle devait en parler à son manager pour nous changer de chambre. Nous avons parlé une heure à la réception avant d'être enfin délogé dans une autre chambre. Autre chambre qui avait le même problème de douche et aucune pression d'eau. Nous sommes repassés à la réception le soir même en signalant le problème, rien n'a été fait. Ils nous ont avoué à demi mot que le problème était présent dans d'autres chambres. Le lendemain matin, nous sommes tombés sur la manager à la réception qui n'était pas au courant des problèmes de la veille. Nous lui avons signalé le problème de la douche sans pression, rien n'a été fait dans la journée pendant notre absence afin de la réparer. Nous avons signalé plusieurs fois que nous étions en lune de miel, aucune excuse ne nous a été présentée et rien ne nous a été offert en compensation (même pas un petit verre). Le jour de checkout, on nous a appelé à 10h20 dans notre chambre afin de nous signaler qu'il était l'heure de partir. Nous travaillons tous les deux en hôtellerie et nous n'avons jamais vu ça de notre vie. Le cadre est très jolie mais le personnel est très loin d'être serviable et agréable.

Personnel très désagréable…. Aucun accueil.. un des plus déplorable de notre séjour… comparé à un B&B sur Agrigente qui était lui digne d’un 5 Étoiles pas comme cet établissement… en plus de n’avoir aucun « Bonjour » du personnel nos bagages ont était déposé dans le hall d’entrée en attendant que la chambre soit prête… nous avons décidé de partir en balade et à notre retour soit 4 Heures après les bagages n’avaient pas bougé du hall … 1/2 bagage était scellé par un bout de papier imprimé plier … qui était enfaite la facture d’un autre client avec sont nom, son prénom… les prix de ses consommations et de sa chambre bref aucun respect de la vie privée et aucune garantie pour nos bagages … enfin bon .. arrivé dans la chambre qui as était « minutieusement » nettoyé…. Aucun savon pour les mains .. le tube était vide, les WC sale, le bouton de la chasse d’eau avec plein de trace de doigt, des fourmis qui promènent, un éclairage qui n’éclaire pas car ils sont degeulasse, les joint de la douche noir … voilà l’expérience de notre séjour dans un hôtel 5 étoiles GOLF & SPA proche de Syracuse. Merci

Stedet er påbegyndt nedslidning af især værelsesdelen. Personalets sprogkundskaber er under middel i forhold til den klasse stedet gerne vil befinde sig i. Menukortet har lav standard, dog er morgenmaden meget flot. Husk paraply hvis det regner, da der ikke er overdækket mellem reception og værelsesfløj. P-pladserne er for få i forhold til kapacitet. Nogle af stierne er ikke egnede til at køre bagagen - 3 stjerner med en pil opad - for dyrt i forhold til det man får

Très bel endroit à 20 minutes de Syracuse

Bel hôtel , belle restauration du monastère … le mieux est très agréable avec des grandes chambres ( suite junior) et situé au milieu du golf à 20 minutes de Syracuse . Le petit déjeuner est très varié, plein de produits locaux et très bon avec une petite terrasse donnant sur un trou de golf . En revanche nous avons été déçus par les 2 repas pris sur place ( déjeuner au club house et dîner au restaurant) : choix très limité, service et plats très peu soignés le midi , et malgré un bon service le soir , le contenu de l’assiette était décevant ( poisson pas cuit) Mais la proximité de Syracuse permet de trouver de tres bons restaurants autour et l’hôtel est un havre de paix tres bien entretenu.

Tutto perfetto....o quasi.... la struttura è veramente molto bella, ampie le camere, buon campo da golf, piscina da atmosfera, tanti angoli dove potersi rilassare (giardino, bar all'aperto,ecc...). Personale gentile ed attento, ottima accoglienza alla reception, così come ottimo il servizio durante la prima colazione ed in piscina. Unica GRANDE pecca il servizio di riordino delle stanze: per ben due mattine nonostante la porta chiusa ed il segnale di Non disturbare, una persona dello staff è entrata in stanza senza neanche bussare, abbiamo dovuto mettere la valigia a bloccare la porta per evitare che si ripetesse il fatto di trovarsi all'improvviso qualcuno in stanza, anche la pulizia non è stata accurata e per ben due giorni non ci è stato ripristinato il set di cortesia (segnalato in hall).

Purtroppo la struttura non riesce a gestire bene il periodo di alta stagione,le sdraio non bastavano per tutti, la sera presso la struttura vi era un matrimonio che ha costretto gli ospiti dell'hotel a cenare ammassati in una piccola sala interna senza poter rispettare minimamente le norme anticovid . Non ho mai potuto usufruire della doccia in camera (junior suite)perche' lo scarico non funzionava a dovere. In conclusione ritengo che la struttura anche se molto bella dal punto di vista architettonico non è all'altezza di un cinque stelle . Probabilmente i molti cambi di gestione della struttura sono indice di qualcosa che non va'...

Hotellet ligger mycket fint omgiven av grönskande citrusträd, stora rum, sköna sängar, lugnt och stilla, trevlig personal, rent och snyggt, mycket god mat, hög service nivå. Vi spelade även golf, hyrde klubbor och såväl bokandet av tider och klubbor var enkelt. Själva golfbanan är ok men skicket sämre än vad vi är vana vid och den stora behållningen var mer upplevelsen och vädret, inte själva banan. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka hit.

Professional and easy going staff. Exceptional breakfast. Very quiet location (ater all it is a monastery!). The rooms were very nice, with a private balcony. We had an excellent stay. For the golfers, there is a very pleasant full length course on site, with a discount for hotel guests!
