Lovely villa on the sea!

We stayed here for a week, three adults. The villa was beautiful, right on the sea, with a lovely front terrasse, with comfortable sofa, dining table, chairs and loungers. The living room is very big and comfortable with three sitting areas. Each bedroom is spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Two bathrooms, a wonderful kitchen fully equipped, and a nice laundry room. Really a spectacular property, well-decorated by the owner. We enjoyed visiting around to Noto and Siracusa. The owner is very responsive, helped us with a medical problem. We recommend this property unreservedly if you wish to stay in the Fontane Bianche area. We have rented VRBO numerous times in various countries and this rates as one of the best. Grazie mille, Vincenza!

Everything we hoped for

This is a lovely villa, in a fantastic position. Being able to sit on the private patio with an unspoilt view of the Mediterranean at the foot of the garden was a privilege we never thought we would have. The weather when we were there was very pleasant but at that time of year we did not feel inclined to swim, but this would certainly be possible on calm summer days (bring beach shoes). Away from the patio, the garden is lovely and there is plenty of shade, and I presume the slightly elevated position must catch any cooling breeze during the height of summer. The villa is used by the family themselves, which explains why it is so well equipped and why it is such an easy and comfortable house to live in. It was spotlessly clean and the welcome we received from the Vincenza and Lidia was very warm, and they also provided a generous welcome pack to get us started, including there own olive oil. The Villa is an excellent base for touring the Southeast of the island, with easy access to the autostrada network. This allowed us to travel for day trips without difficulty as far north as Taormina and as far west as Valle dei Templi. Of course, with such gems as Noto, Ragusa, Scicli, Ortigia, and Palazzolo Acreide closer by you may not feel the need to go so far. All of the above are well worth seeing. We had a lovely time here, and would like to thank the Cuoco's for their hospitality.

Superb Villa Near Siracusa

One of the best vacation rental experiences we have ever had. The Cuoco sisters were excellent hosts and the house is both beautiful and very well equipped. It was incredibly clean upon arrival and the view and proximity to the sea were exceptional. Fantastic swimming and snorkeling. The villa is amazingly relaxing with the sights of Siracusa and Ortigia Island a very short drive away. We will gladly return and hope to do so regularly. Very much recommended.

Wonderful place

Sehr gemütliches Haus mit herrlicher Aussicht wirklich direkt am Meer. Perfekt um zu relaxen oder auch die interessanten geschichtsträchtigen Städte der Umgebung zu erkunden. Vincenza ist eine sehr großzügige und liebenswerte Gastgeberin. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Beautiful views

House was very comfortable for 2 couples. Good sized bedrooms and baths. Great patio for morning coffee and evening relaxing. Location was a great base for exploring Syracuse, Noto, Ragusa and Modica. Drawback: A/C didn’t work properly in 1 BR, but since there were 3 BR, one couple moved. The entire recycling/ trash situation was a mystery and communication with the owner did not clarify it.

Amazing stay in Fontane Bianchi Villa

The Villa was absolutely perfect! Clean, stocked beyond measure with anything we could have asked for! The water was clean and easy to get to. Water shoes are a must! Cant wait to go back!

Mycket bra

Fint hus med stora utrymme för en bra trivsel. Terrassen var väldigt fin med en underbar utsikt över havet. Vi var sex vuxna och alla trivdes ypperligt. Var svårt att hitta en bra supermarket i Fontane Bianchi, hittade senare en närmare Syracusa. Vår värd var väldigt gullig och hjälpsam. Vi kommer säkert tillbaka.

Beautiful villa for a family

We were very satisfied with this large and well equipped villa. We were joined by our daughter and her husband, along with our 2 grandkids, and everyone felt right at home. There was plenty of space for everyone, including play areas for the kids. We had plenty of fun roaming the yard and gardens and going down to the rock beach. However, we did find it a little awkward getting to the nearby sandy beach as the narrow roads made it too difficult to take young kids - solved with a 5 minute drive. Vincenza our hostess was marvellous and welcoming, and had stocked many staples for our visit. She was extremely helpful! A very enjoyable holiday.

Paradise

This was one of the most beautiful houses we have ever rented - the view from the terrace was glorious and we (two couples) spent most mornings and evenings sitting out looking at the sea. The house is very comfortable and not too cluttered, as many rentals are, with beautiful artworks and artifacts, many by Lidia. Vincenza and Lidia met us at the house having stocked it with two kinds of olives, a huge fruit basket, bread, butter, milk, wine, olive oil, coffee... It was hard to tear ourselves away for sightseeing. We enjoyed pizza at Pizzaria Blume in Cassibile, as well as peppers, meat, cheese and roasted chicken legs with onions and potatoes that we bought at the nearby small grocery store. Laundry was easy since the machine had a 30 minute cycle, unlike some European ones that take hours. The only minor drawback was the somewhat difficult trek to the water and, for fastidious Americans, having to put toilet paper in metal containers instead of flushing it.

Traumhafter Ausblick von der Terrasse

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche anfang Novemberhier verbracht. Das Wetter hat auch mitgespielt, was wichtig ist, da die Unterkunft über keine Heizung in der Küche und dem Wohnzimmer verfügt. Wir konnten den Kamin nutzen mußten das Holz jedoch kaufen, das vorhandene war nicht trocken genug. Davon abgesehen ein toller Urlaub! Im Haus ist alles was der Hobbykoch braucht, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank auch für die Lebensmittel wie Wein Brot und Tomaten zum Start. Ute

Ein wunderschönes Feriendomizil

Wir haben in diesem herrlichen Haus wunderbare Ferien verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und liegt direkt am Meer, in dem man sehr gut baden kann. Die Hausbesitzer haben es sehr liebevoll ausgestattet, so dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Et virkelig skønt og veludstyret hus. Modtagelsen var varm og gæstfri, og vi følte os godt behandlet af ejerne. Huset ligger med naboer til begge sider, og den nærmest liggende by, Fontane Bianche, er ikke særlig charmerende, men har da et par minimarkeder, en slagter og et grøntudsalg. Alt i alt dog en virkelig god oplevelse.

Terrific villa in easy driving distance to Siracusa (and Catania airport)

Fantastic outside space that easily accommodates a large group. Well equipped kitchen too. Not a lot to do in the immediate vicinity but only 15 minutes from Siracusa, maybe 30 from Noto and an hour from Catania airport so good base for exploring the SE corner of Sicily. Key hand over process worked flawlessly and we were made very welcome.

The property lives up to expectations, the owners greeted us at the villa and were very nice.

Great villa by the sea, very quiet and close to Seracusa. The villa lives up to the pictures on the web site. Its breathtaking ! The only drawback is the internet connection, if you really need an internet connection on your holiday you should not choose this villa. otherwise, its a great villa in a wonderful location.

Wunderschönes Haus am Meer

Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an in diesem Haus wohlgefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt, im Haus ist alles wichtige und noch mehr vorhanden. Der Meerblick ist traumhaft, der Steinstrand gleich unterhalb und das Meer wunderbar. Die Städte Syrakus, Noto, Modica und Ragusa sind nach kurzer Fahrt zu erreichen. Alles in allem ein perfektes Haus.
