“ We really loved our stay and highly recommend if you like old school charming lakefront homes! The number of bedrooms and bathrooms worked very well for our group. We also really liked the upgrades since our last stay (the giant family couch with recliners were so comfy!). “Overall impression on the property was phenomenal. Spacing was great for a party of 13. Tahoe City was close by and was a pleasant strip to visit. Home is just as described, even though there wasn’t an AC it kept cool without the unit downstairs. Neighborhood was very calm, about a 15-20 minute walk to the non-private beach. ”

“Great cabin for large family gathering. We were looking for views and comfort, not fancy. We had 9 adults with plenty of room to spread out. Views are incredible and hot tub on deck that is ready for use was a welcome bonus. Bear sighting was exciting but also a reminder to be careful. “Water's Edge gets 5 stars for location. It was perfect. The house itself was fine but a little tired in terms of decor and fittings. It is not flat into the house and could do with a portable ramp to help those with wheelchairs to easily access the house....but was still achievable. Our main problem was not with the house but with the management company that looked after the house. We were not forewarned that the plot next to the house was being developed. We had building noise from 7:15 each……
