We visited Yashima near the hotel by rental car. It was a beautiful day and we could enjoy the sightseeing from the top of the Yashima and the famous temple.

The staff were welcoming and the property was very clean and modern. The onsen was clean and very refreshing. The morning breakfast was quite substantial and had several options. Although the on-site restaurant was closed for lunch and had very few options for dinner, what they had was very fresh and reasonably priced.

A female staff member at the front desk didn’t use polite language when asking about my nationality. Also, while I was waiting to check in and looking at my smartphone, she suddenly started explaining the check-in process without warning. I said I understood and went back to my phone, but she asked again if everything was okay. It was frustrating. Other than that, everything else was satisfying.
