our stay at the McFarlin house exceeded our expectations greatly, the home is a true gem, the photos cannot truly show it's magnificence,it does have to be experienced in person.the decorating of rooms is stylish and fitting for each room and the home itself . hosts are extremely caring and accommodating, breakfast excellent. wonderful stay.

Our host Richard made us feel very welcome and kept us entertained over the excellent breakfast he made for us. The house has been beautifully restored and we had a wonderful stay. We were a bit disappointed to find only one dining option in the town, but the food we had was excellent.

Balcony, the decoration. Friendly staff. I didn’t like the fact that the room was so dusty, it seemed that , that room wasn’t cleaned for weeks. I go to Tallahassee every other weekend, my wishes were to stay in that beautiful mansion every time I go , until I checked in I smelled and felt the dust, I won’t ever stay there again

The home was beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. The owner even let us check in early because they had the room ready early. Very gracious hosts and just a fantastic weekend all around. I highly recommend staying here.

The house and lodgings are extraordinary! Our hosts were fantastic and the breakfast in the formal dining room was beyond our expectations. My only caution is that there are lots of stairs to upper floors and rooms if that is a problem for you. We ate at Papa's Chophouse and fantastic food and service.

It is an amazing property, we went for our daughter graduation an it was a 20m ride, the breakfast superb, the owner is there all the time if you need anything, the service with all the China and tablecloth was absolutely wonderful, a place full of history. I wish I new about this place one year ago, I would have reserved the entire house for our family.

Beautiful!

We were looking for a place to stay in Tallahassee for my kids graduation and we were unable to find a place. We decided to take a chance on surrounding areas and found this bed and breakfast in Quincy. What a find! This place was so great. Beautiful home, beautiful rooms just a great experience. We will be staying there going forward instead of Tallahassee.

Comfortable stay with reliable and fast wifi

My stay at the McFarlin House was just what I was looking for, and has become my go to place to stay when work takes me to nearby Bainbridge, GA. Due to a very long drive I had to check in after hours. They were very accommodating and got me directly to my room. The wifi was fast and steady, which is crucial. There are cokes, snacks, and coffee available for free 24/7 in a refreshment room. The formal parlor on the first floor was open at all hours, and I utilized this beautiful space to work on my laptop at 3am; an experience that is just not possible in a hotel. I thought the rate I paid was fair. The town of Quincy is charming.
