Close walking distance to beach and center of tamarindo. Easy parking. Room barely had an ocean views. Continental breakfast was mid. Staff was great and Toby (dog) is a sweet heart.

Steve and Martha were fantastic and have a great little place. We booked one of the cottages so had a view of the ocean/sunset and a private pool, was brilliant. Didn’t need a car, everything was walkable. Would recommend.

This hotel was perfect. Walking distance into town but secluded enough for peace and quiet. The property is beautiful and well kept, rooms are clean and comfortable. I will most certainly be coming back to stay here.

The two owners are wonderful people! The one can also help arrange tours which was easy and helpful. The pool was nice and the breakfast/lunch bar area was great. Not a bad walk up and down the dirt hill.

We had a wonderful family stay at Tamarindo Village Hotel with our two teens. Our bungalow was spotless and felt just like home. The owner is incredibly accommodating and helpful, and his amazing wife and daughter Zoey made us feel so welcome. When we asked for a surfing recommendation, Zoey arranged lessons with her friend—they were fantastic! We also adored their sweet cat Rosie and the sweetest, calmest dog ever—Toby—who was recovering from injuries and doing much better by the time we left. The location is perfect: easy walking distance to Tamarindo Beach, shops, and restaurants. We enjoyed the nice pool and delicious homemade breakfasts every morning. We loved it so much we even extended our stay for 3 more days! We’ll miss this special place and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend! ❤️
