Our stay was great. 602 was a good floor with great views. We did need to get a fourth chair for the deck.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Matapalo 602 is a beautiful unit in a great complex. It is right in the middle of all the fun things to do in Tamarindo. You can walk quickly into town for dining and shopping. Plus, the ability to access the hotel amenities is great. Perfect place to be if you want to be in the middle of a great little surf town.

Reviewer Comments: To start, RPM Services & office crew were fantastic – from answering all our questions and making airport travel arrangements – all was taken care of promptly, professionally and without any challenges. Airport pickup was convenient, took us right to the unit, provided us with keys, cards and bracelets. Both drivers were kind, polite and drove the Costa Rica roadways safely and with ease. Matapalo unit was beautiful – high quality artwork and furniture with a view that was beautiful. Kitchen appliances all high-end, with a dishwasher and a bbq on the balcony – stocked kitchen with supplies, which was a nice surprise (included coffee filters). Beds were comfortable and extra bedding and towels were available in mass quantity – rooms themselves were large, such nice furniture and décor. Unit also had a washer and dryer, including soap, which was handy with a family of 5 – 3 kids (17, 15 and 10). The grounds were very well taken care of, always being trimmed and groomed all day long – building is secure and the guards are friendly. The family pool was our morning refuge, soaking by 9am and taking a refreshing swim in a palm tree covered pool. Bartender at the pool was friendly, keeping us hydrated and serving delicious Costa Rican Coco Loco’s to the tune of some excellent Spanish latino music going all day long. Beach was just across the street, cute little shops and restaurants – you are in the middle of Tamarindo! Area is safe, never felt uncomfortable and kids absolutely loved this property too. Unit itself was large, spacious and very clean – maid service came through a few times throughout our visit as well. Grocery stores, bank machines, restaurants are all within walking distance. It was fun to locate the web cams that we had been watching for months – the sunsets were worth a million dollars too, amazing. Really do want to thank the team at RP

EXCELLENT CONDO STAY AT MATAPALO DIRIA 602 Lower Unit

Awesome mattress & pillows, new bed linens, towels, dishes, & TV. Fast hot water with great water pressure in the showers. Nice attention to detail by RPM Management complete with fresh tropical flowers, freshly baked french bread, homemade pineapple jam, & a lovely bottle of wine. Hard to beat the ocean views from the terrace & balcony which has a gas grill ( & the gas tank was full). This unit is located at the quiet far end of the Matapalo building. You can also rent the additional upstairs unit with bed, bath, jacuzzi, & killer views. We could not have been more pleased with this unit. We have stayed in at least 9 other units at the Diria condo complex, & this was one of our favorites. The only issue we had was the slow, low-bandwidth internet which made it difficult for us to work remotely. We have paid extra for high-speed, secured internet service. Highly recommend this unit & look forward to staying there again.

Reviewer Comments: Overall, it was nice but the biggest issue was the noise from upstairs. The chairs sliding across the floor was very annoying - adding chair pads to the legs would help a lot. It was also very noisy upstairs - there is a huge gap under the door to the upstairs unit so we could hear them like they were in the downstairs living room with us.

RPM was fantastic, and very fast on getting things fixed if needed. My only complaints about the condo was the master bathroom shower gets the floor really, really, wet, and there are no hooks anywhere for swimsuits The condo needs more seating in the living room too. The couch only holds 2-3 comfortably. Other than that, it was the perfect place for our family. Close to everything, and so much space. Thanks for a great vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our first trip to Costa Rica was wonderful in many respects, but this condo was a big part of it. I rarely give out five stars for anything but I would have given more if available. The drive up down a rough road was decieving in that the building and ground are immaculate. The condo had venetian plaster, granite, was truly beautiful. The view from the sixth floor over tamarindo beach was breath taking. FYI, next time your in Dallas Texas check out my steakhouse, Chamberlains Chop House.
