The luxurious Jade Coast 2 Villa in Tamarindo is located in the heart of famous Tamarindo Beach! You will enjoy your own private gated piece of paradise while being steps from the beach and Tamarindo restaurants, night life, shopping, beach & surfing! We are only a couple minute walk across the street from the beach near the El Diria hotel side of town.

This large villa is a comfortable and spacious space (over 3,000 sq ft), perfect for family and friends to gather and relax. With 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms which is fully air conditioned - enjoy amazing sleep with 3 king size beds, two twin beds, a foldout couch, and queen air mattress with space enough for 2 families 8-10 people. The 4th bedroom suite with private bathroom w/shower, microwave, and sitting table is located above the garage and conveniently has its own entrance off the pool area. All rooms have air conditioners for your comfort. and the bedrooms offer lots of storage in the large built-in closets. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, stainless steel appliances, granite counters, cooking supplies, and an eat at island.

The beautifully furnished home includes a smart TV with wifi. We have the latest in Wifi technology and the house utilizes a Eero system which is a mesh type system that blankets the whole house with transmitters on each floor so the internet is fast and reliable in all rooms including the studio apartment. There's a dining nook off the kitchen, as well as plenty of seating on the patio/terrace which the living room opens up to. Inside laundry room with washer/dryer, linens, bath and beach towels, beach chairs, and two blow dryers are included.

The entire property is included with your reservation. Amenities include a private pool, lounge chairs, outdoor shower, BBQ, private parking and garage, large covered terraces and balconies. The outdoor barbecue area provides a fun alternative to cooking for the whole family or for your BBQ party with friends. Have a drink on our patio while listening to tropical birds and howler monkeys announce their presence...

Free cable and High Speed Wireless Internet (WiFi). Bring your Fire-stick or Roku if you want, but we suggest you enjoy the beach! There is a landline phone provided - local calls included - long distance requires calling card. There is also a safe in the upstairs bedroom closet.

Tamarindo is known for a variety of activities such as World-Cass Surfing, Golf, Boating, Swimming, Hiking, Nature Trails, Wildlife Watching Tours, Jetskiing, Canopying, Fishing, Sailing, Horse Back Riding.... Alternatively, enjoy the large variety of restaurants, bars and clubs in Tamarindo or discover the town's many shops and stores. Tamarindo has some very sophisticated Super Markets and restaurants. There are also different tour operators, banks, spas, car rental agencies and all other necessary services in Tamarindo.

We are in Tamarindo proper not Playa Langosta or Playa Grande.

very good house but problems with pool and internet

Both our grandkids who used the pool got ear infections and we had to go to urgent care. We assume it was the pool water which was not disinfected properly. Also we struggled with the internet. We had to keep resetting the router

Great home for 3 couples. Everything was better than expected; the pool, location, kitchen was well enough stocked for private chef to prepare a meal, place was clean, bed was comfortable, property managers replied quickly to any question. I'd stay again and recommend to friends.

Location and luxury

The property layout was one of the best we’ve experienced. Abundance of privacy for friends and/or family traveling together and lots of common area and private pool for getting together. On the downside, moderate traffic on the gravel road adjacent to the property throws dust that settles on the pool deck. Not a deal breaker, but slightly annoying. Also before arrival, be sure to ask that the pool be cleaned before and at least once during your stay. The wind can knock debris from trees into the pool that settles on the bottom. Otherwise, fabulous!

Great location, perfect spot!

Ideal spot to stay with one or two families. Close to the beach, surf shops, restaurants, etc. the house was clean, cool, the pool was perfect, and the kitchen was well equipped for basic meals. Outdoor bbq and patio was awesome. Each room had its own a/c which was great. The room above the garage was difficult to manage the a/c with it blowing directly on the bed. Hard to sleep when it was too cold or too hot in that room, but all spaces inside were easy to customize. What a perfect, safe, private, centrally located option. Stayed over Christmas and new years which was super busy, but very fun!

The perfect holiday escape place.

This property was perfect for our group. There were five of us - one being a 20 year old home from university for holiday break. He had the separate guest house all to himself & loved having that space. His parents and us had the tons of room in the main house. The house was very clean and comfortable with air conditioners in every room. The kitchen was well appointed and large so we enjoyed cooking together and barbequing on the patio. It is easy to spend lots of time spent on the shaded patio and cooling off in the pool.Since we had a car rental it was so nice to have a garage. It was comforting knowing our vehicle was safely tucked away when were weren't out exploring. The location is nice as you are away from the busyness of downtown Tamarindo but it is very easy walk into the town center where there are lots of shops and restaurants. It is also a very short walk to the beach where you can enjoy walking the sandy beach or just soaking up the sun. And the sunsets sitting at the beach can be quite spectacular

Wonderful villa in Tamarindo!

My family and I stayed in this villa from April 9-13. We are a family of 6 adults with a 9 month old and a 2 and 1/2 year old. The villa is as stated in the VRBO site. It’s a beautiful home that accommodated all of us. It was very clean and had a stocked kitchen that was helpful. The beach was across the road with a beautiful path to the water. The pool was glorious! We all loved it and used in the early morning and again in the late afternoon. It was especially fun to see the iguanas at the pool. We would definitely recommend this beautiful villa to others. Thank you Audrey for sharing your lovely villa with us!

Perfect for family

We are a three generational family of seven ranging in age from 8 years old to 65, and this house was perfect for us. The bedroom setup worked well for us, with three of the rooms having ensuites, very comfortable beds, and plenty of room. The dining table was great for game time. And the pool was an absolute highlight. The air conditioning worked wonderfully. And the communication with both the owner and the property manager was timely and all questions were addressed. The location cannot be beat. You are a very short walk from the beach and from the center of town. We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Home/Great Location!

This property was perfect! The 2 car garage coupled with the gates gave us an added sense of security, although we never felt unsafe or threatened by our surroundings, be it the short walk up the road to the home or walking around town. The pool temperature was perfect for any time, day or night. The amenities supplied were plentiful - stayed 4 nights and had plenty of dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc. for our group of 4. The beds/pillows were super comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Proximity to town and beach was perfect. Although located at the very end of the strip, everything, including those restaurants/bars/shops at the far opposite end, were very walkable. If you take a shuttle from Liberia instead of renting a car, you’ll be just fine (our rental car stayed in the garage from arrival to departure). Pura Vida! We WILL be back!

Family getaway

We had a wonderful time. Property manager and owner always responded to our inquiries. House was wonderful. 3 of the 4 bedrooms were master sized and spacious. Morning swims in the pool were amazing. And a friendly iguana greeted us from the top of fence in the morning. Quick walk to the beach and easily accessible to downtown. I highly recommend this house.

Great property and location

The property was just perfect for our group of 8 (adults plus teens). The house had all of the amenities needed and the beach chairs and cooler was so appreciated. The property managers were very quick to respond and took care of anything needed right away. I will definitely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to Tamarindo!

Perfect for family vacation!

We had two families of 5 staying at this house and it was perfect!! We were close enough to the beach to walk and the house supplied all we needed (chairs, cooler). The owner and manager were very helpful and was very responsive. We would definitely recommend staying at this house!

Excellent experience

Pros: LOCATION! Right in the heart of Tamarindo beach. As stated, just a 2-5 minute walk to anything and everything. 2-3 minute walk to the beach. You feel secluded and private even though you have a Villa on each side of you. Very relaxing. Owner and property manager responded to any questions we had within minutes. Cons: We were a party of 7 adults and a one year old. One towel and one wash cloth for each person for a 7 night stay. Although, they provided washing detergent for us it was still a hassle not having extras. Also, we had to purchase beach chairs because they only provided 4. $40 each for a cheap chair that we had to leave there. The pictures online are deceiving about the size of the Villa. While the bedrooms were spacious, the living room was small and only seated 5 people max and there were 7 of us plus a toddler. Lastly, there is tile on the steps and cover porch around the pool and several of us slipped and fell, including my one year old granddaughter, getting in/out of the pool and when it rained. They need some anti slip mats or something or someone will eventually seriously hurt themselves. Overall, our stay was fabulous and we would definitely stay here again, just with less people in our group.

We absolutely loved it, the house has everything you need! The pool was wonderful for morning and evening swims! We rented a golf cart, which made it easy for grocery shopping and going to restaurants and shopping.There is a very nice market about 5 minutes away, it has great produce, wine and alcohol. The great restaurants, the people are so friendly and helpful! Every evening about 5:30 everyone goes to the beach to watch the sunset , so we did😊we would sit at Witch’s Rock with a delicious drink and watched the sunset! And they were beautiful, don’t miss them! Enjoy !!!!!!

An incredible place to stay in Tamarindo

I only hope that you have a chance to stay at Audrey's place in Tamarindo. She is an exceptional host and her place is perfect for anyone who want to just relax and enjoy the beautiful Pacific coast, warm waters and wonderful people of Costa Rica. Audrey's home was perfect for our group of 6. Very sort walk to the beach and great pool to just hang out. First trip to Costa Rica and we fell in love with the place. Beautiful people, landscapes and food. We are going back. Just don't take my week(S).
