The Tamarindo beach is a beautiful beach for walking, playing volleyball, or just sitting and watching the sunset. Just outside of Tamarindo, there are amazing bike trails for mountain bikers, and it's an easy drive to many other amazing beaches.     Tamarindo is 1 hour away from the Liberia Airport, you can arrange shuttles or car rentals through us with special prices and discounts.

    Once in Tamarindo you can rely on the informal taxi service or rent an ATV to move around and discover some amazing beaches 30 minutes away from us.

    The main floor of the unit has an open layout that works very well letting natural light in.
    You will have an open floor plan on the first floor that allows for lots of natural light.

    The kitchen is fully equipped making it easy to cook large meals including a microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker. The breakfast bar works very well for families and there is a table for 6.

    The living room has a very comfortable sectional couch, AC, a flat-screen TV, and digital cable. You will find books about the local nature, birds and must-see places of Costa Rica, and beautiful art.
    There is a bed under the stairs and a half bathroom as well.
    Past the sliding doors, you will find a beautiful and comfortable terrace that overlooks the pool and some of the neighboring trees, it is a great place to relax and see the passing birds and occasional monkeys.


    On the second floor, you will have two spacious bedrooms each with its en-suite bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a king bed and terrace and the other one has a queen bed and overlooks trees where the monkeys play.
    Both bedrooms have AC, large closets linens, and towels.
    Our housekeeping team keeps the unit fresh and clean.

    Going up the stairs you will come upon the private rooftop terrace with an ocean view, it is a great place to watch the sunsets, sunbathe during the day or have a drink with your friends and family

    The pool is very refreshing and surrounded by tropical hedges and plants, it has a jacuzzi section, outside showers, and comfortable lounge chairs to lay back, catch some sun, and truly enjoy the Pura Vida lifestyle.

We had a great stay at this property! Perfect location and had everything you needed from coolers to lawn chairs. We recommend this place! Only downside was the two blenders were broken :(

We stayed here for two weeks with our two teens it was fantastic. They could walk to town and the beach. Plenty of space for us all. Kitchen was easy to cook in. We hope to come again.

Perfect Location

This place is great! The complex is gated with parking and a pool and is right in the center of Tamarindo - 5 minute walk to the beach. The rooftop isn't as nice as it could be the inside of the house is perfectly set up with beds, bathrooms, laundry, and a well stocked kitchen. During our stay we looked at a couple potential vacation homes to purchase, and if this place had been on the market, we would have bought it. We joked that the only problem with the property was that the gate is manual to open and close as you drive in and out (though everything in town is walkable so it's just as you arrive and leave) and that if that is the only problem, then there is nothing to complain about.

The management company in Tamarindo for this property is one of the best by far.. RPM.

Location is fantastic. Whenever I get to book a property managed by RPM everything works out perfectly they are very responsive and give you everything that you need and respond very fast on WhatsApp.

Great location and accommodation

Great location. The apartment is in the middle of the center of Tamarindo so you are a 5 minute walk from everything! The apartment was much bigger than what it looked like in pictures. The AC was a phenomenal addition to the hot environment. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The only thing is there is a nightclub nearby so expect to hear club music from the queen bedroom at night. Also, plan to drop off the keys at their office a few blocks away because you cannot just leave the apartment without doing that. A great accommodation.

Great Location and space

Enough space to enjoy the apartment with your friends. Great location just a few meters from the restaurants area and the beach. Very simple check in/check out process. Fully equipped and nicely decorated.

Nice place but fraud for $90 on checkout

It's a good place for a vacation. After checkout was sent an email saying I broke a bowl, stole a hair dryer and a pillow, $90. No way any of that is real. I will reverse on my Credit card. We stayed a month and being on the third floor and handling the gate got to feel painful. Center or Tamarindo. House is big and many parts nice but stairs inside seemed nearly dangerous - slippery and slanted. Couch was the most uncomfortable thing - just soft boxes and pillows. Aircon smelled old all the time. Balconies also has very uncomfortable chairs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second visit to La Cometa but our first in #19. The condo was clean and well equipped. The beds and linens were very comfortable. While we were there we had a few maintenance issues but they were looked after immediately. During our stay the fridge was replaced with a beautiful unit complete with water dispenser and ice maker. We look forward to our next visit to #19 in 2021!

Disappointed

We had several maintenance issues along with stained bed sheets. I had to visit the office daily to have them addressed. Most disappointing issue was missing items from our condo. We were told we did not have to be present when maintenance was in unit. We also believe cleaning staff were in our unit when we did not give permission. The unit itself was sufficient with everything you may need. I am assuming various ants and other bugs are common to have in your accommodations, just alarming when they are in your bed. We love Costa Rica and will not let this affect our last few days here at a beautiful beachfront hotel. Nor will it detour us from future visits to Tamarindo. They worn you to put valuables in the safe but didn’t think that meant my Nike running shoes! The location of the unit is great. Easy walk to beach and many awesome restaurants! Pura Vida T & J

The location is very close to all the action. Very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. The pool is amazing. The unit is very well equipped and clean. The kitchen is very nice with a new fridge. The only thing we missed is a kettle. We enjoyed our stay and plan to stay again in 2021.

Great location

Property was located just a couple minute walk to all the stores and the beach. The place was very spacious and clean. My only complaint was that I had to check in on Sunday. Since their Tamarindo office is closed, I had to go to their Langosta office which is about 1.5miles away. It was pretty inconvenient considering I had already been dropped off hours before checkin was available. Otherwise, great place to stay.

Very close to the beach. Very clean and manager are extremely responsive!

I would not hesitate to stay at this property again. My kids and I had an awesome time! It is everything they advertise and more. The property managers are very responsive to questions and inquiries.

The condo was beautifully decorated, clean, and fully stocked. We were travelling with two young children and didn't worry about a thing once we arrived. Amazing location, so close to everything! Used the pool daily and it was always very clean. We had a few maintenance issues while we were there that were dealt with extremely promptly. Would highly recommend and we are hoping to be back one day.

Reviewer Comments: On arrival the apartment block looked a little bit 'weathered' but as soon as we got inside we saw that the apartment was spacious and well maintained. Everything we needed was there. Kitchen equipment was ample and well thought out. Both bedrooms were comfortable with ensuite bathrooms. The only improvement we might have looked for was a better cooker as this one was a little older and hard to control. This is a minor detail though. In general the apartment was excellent and really good value. As others have said it is a two minute walk from the beachfront but beautifully quiet at night. Some have mentioned the pool being cold but we found it constantly warm. There is secure parking and 24/7 security presence. The rental.company were efficient and friendly. The maid service was quick and unobtrusive. There is no laundry room as such but there is a commercial laundry in the nearby mini-mall that charges $2 per kilo for a service wash. All in all this was an ideal place to stay in Tamarindo. I would return again if visiting Tamarindo.
