Only had double beds for 3 people. No queen/king bed and double option. Toiletries Where on the skimpy side. Wi fi was very weak and dropped often. There beach connection required a shuttle ride to rooms where nice but bit cramped no inside chairs other than that great staff and beautiful view from infinity pool

Property is situated at the top of the hill in tamarindo overseeing the beach from room balcony. While the hotel is not closer to town / beach, they have shuttles that would take you to the town and to another beach front resort where you can lounge, chill and enjoy the beach. Overall good place to stay!

Simply a beautiful hotel with an amazing swimming pool, swim up bar & a million dollar view with each hotel room facing the ocean. The all you can eat breakfast buffett was superb. Unlimmited drinking water availiable by the elevator. Javiro at the hospitality excursion desk was absolutely fabulous; such a kind & genuine human being! He even gave me his phone number in case of an emergency! He arranged an excursion for me including a coffee/sugar cane tour, horseback ride, 8 zip lines, waterside down the mountain, mud bath, hot springs & waterfall with an AMAZING buffett Lunch at the top of the mountain. They also provided transportation to and from the hotel and was about 11 hours of fun! Javiro's son Sebastian took me on the excursion & he was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and I felt very safe & protected. He even stopped at a gift shop with samples of coffee & chocolate & Walmart for us & was so patient & kind to us. $190 US for the entire day. There is a shuttle leaving the hotel every hour to take us to Tamarindo, 1 stop in the town and 1 stop at the beach resort. My shuttle driver Randal was THE BEST!!!! He was so kind & hospitable, & we had great conversations on all the trips. Staying at the Wyndham was an effortless experience as the staff were very friendly and provide you with everything you will need. Muchas Gracias for an experience of a lifetime. We had to move our room due to air conditioning leaking, once we we got a new room they only wanted to give us 1king bed for the 3 of us, instead of 2 beds I originally requested. We finally got 2 beds as requested and we did get a free dinner out of it. The whole hotel looks old and not that clean. There’s hand prints on the walls and doors to the bathroom in the room. the hallways are dirty, and most of the staff there is unfriendly. The main area of the hotel does look clean the view from the pool is nice. Hotel is close the the town as well.

That sunet view was stunning. Infinity pool had a perfect backdrop. The room could have been cleaned better and breakfast could have been better. Shuttle to town and beach club was a plus. All in all, it was still a good stay.

That view is unmatched! Absolutely stunning. The room could have been cleaned better and the breakfast was lacking. Stayed in 4 hotels during my trip and this breakfast was the least favoured. The shuttle was great to take us into town and to the Lagosta Beach club. Overall, it was still a good stay.

Room maintenance was terrible. Linens, towels and glasses not replaced. Pillows flat as a flitter. No dresser or drawers for clothes. It was not on the beach as portryed in pictures. Not what i expected from a wydham property.

The ocean views are spectacular, rooms are clean, breakfast is good, and the staff is great. Even though I wasn't to keen on relying on the shuttle to go up and down the hill the shuttle drivers themselves are above and beyond. Shout out to Jaime. I would 100% stay at the Wyndham again when I return to Tamarindo.

The view was what made us book on this property. Sadly we had the worst time, we were only there one day and the pool bartender made our stay feel like a nightmare. We were ignored and overlooked, she instead payed attention to other guests even though we were there way before them. She laughed in our face and ignored what we asked for, at once rolling her eyes. It was sad because we looked forward to coming back the minute we saw the view from the pool overlooking the ocean. Definitely feeling overlooked over someone who seems had more money is always a nasty feeling. I hope they do better in ensuring their staff is fair and friendly to everyone. Aside from that, the property is amazing and the rest of the staff was great.

Such a beautiful property! The accommodations are very nice and the pool looks over a gorgeous view. Also loved the shuttle service to the beach club or the town center area. Everything is less than 10 minutes away but the hotel sits up away from all the noise which is nice. Even an Uber there is only about $5 one way. Most of the staff are friendly and say hi when you walk around the property. The one and only reason I am giving it 4 stars is the food. The breakfast was not all that tasty and there were flies around every morning. They did their best to accommodate but everything was a little bland in my opinion. Otherwise, I loved the experience and I would absolutely stay again!

Es el hotel con la vista más impresionante de Tamarindo. Un hotel sin lujo extremo, pero con las condiciones óptimas de un hotel de cadena. El personal es extremadamente amable y servicial. El Happy Hour genial. Las habitaciones limpias con buenas camas y almohadas. El hotel está ubicado en lo alto de una loma y a unos 10 minutos a pie hasta la playa. Bajar es fácil, pero el regreso a pie es pesado, por lo que el hotel ofrece un shuttle ida y vuelta al centro de Tamarindo y al club de playa, que uno tiene ingreso gratuito. Me encanta que tiene el desayuno incluido. Creo que este hotel es perfecto para apreciar la naturaleza y tener la paz de no estar en el centro. Mi única queja es que el Internet no es muy bueno y que, a pesar de que hay closet, no hay una mesa o armario con gavetas.
