"This property was self-checkin which was very convenient for us because we arrived from Kyoto fairly late at night. Although we were unable to leave our backpacks at the hotel (there was no onsight staff available for security), we conveniently stored all of bags at the station nearby for only a few US dollars while we walked around town and visited all the sites. Also, checkin and checkout was very easy using a pin provided by the host after we uploaded our travel documents to access the building and to enter the room. We had no trouble locating the property and letting ourselves inside both the building and our room. Also, this was the only location that provided complimentary hot coffee - all other places we stayed offered complimentary tea, which is nice, but we certainly enjoyed a cup of hot coffee for variety."

"If you’re looking for a Ryokan experience with the nicest staff, this is your place. Central to most sites and k-Nara station. We stayed on night in a traditional room and had a great experience "

"The hotel has great ammenities and the room service options have a ton of variety. It was nice having a massage chair and jacuzzi tub in the room. It was the largest room my husband and I stayed in throughout our travels in Japan as well."

"This was such a unique experience. I enjoyed my stay and LOVED the in-room onsen tub. I only wish there was a larger safe in the room. It was on the smaller side, so I couldn’t fit my laptop in it. "

"Far walk for us and dinner is exotic and different. But absolutely beautiful place. Clean and amazing private onsen. We loved the gift shop and they gave us robes to use. Breakfast buffet excellent. Overall wonderful visit, would recommend and wish i can go again someday. "
