"This place was a real gem! Upon checking in I had 4 different people (some who may not have even worked there) helping us get our room key. Once in our room, we were delighted to find clean sheets, extra lights in the bathroom, and NO cameras. We were just a day too early for the grand pool reopening, so maybe next time we're in town we'll come for a swim! "Check in was a breeze. Our room was spacious and clean - 2 queen beds with sofa pull out. We really like this particular room because it had a the sofa pull out, desk, and 2nd tv in a partially walled space. There was an open and no door. This was nice because with 2 kids, they each wanted to watch something different when it was whine down time. It gave each their own little space. I liked that the desk had wheels and could be moved around and utilized throughout the room. We appreciated the continental breakfast in the morning. Our daughter loved making waffles by herself. They had a nice selection. The gym was a nice size and had a variety of equipment and it is 24 hours! Indoor pool is an okay size. Perfect for the kids to play or if you just want to take a dip. If I recall, it is 3 (one side) to 4 feet (other side). We truly appreciate that it has a pool in the first place! Especially, if the weather would have been more than ideal. We only utilized it for about minutes because the weather was perfect! We really like the location too. Set back a little bit, very short drive to everything (Hershey Park, Outlets, Dining etc.) We would absolutely stay there again!"

"Had a great stay, last week, at the Simmons. Smack in the middle of Chocolate Ave, minutes walking distance to great food, shops, Hidden Still distilling right behind the hotel and Yah brewing. And for the price, you just can beat the value. There is so much history behind the Simmons. You just don't see family-owned motels anymore. Sandy at the front desk was most helpful. It was an easy check in. She was very knowledgeable of places to eat and things to do near by. Looking forward to our next stay there!"

"Room had a large stain on the carpet we noticed as soon as we walked in. The floor in the bathroom was sticky. The elevator broke while we were there and no sign was posted on the floors only in the lobby. We had loud neighbors in the room next door at 1am and when I called the front desk, was told he had just come upstairs and didn’t hear anything. Beds uncomfortable. Very disappointing stay."

"The hotel was okay. Parking is limited. There was a pervasive mildew smell in the hallways and there were multiple fans running to circulate air. The room was clean, beds were firm, bathroom was decent sized-didn’t have to crawl over the toilet to access the tub. There was a mini fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker. Breakfast was very limited-would have been better to go buy breakfast."

"It's a little weird--I had to stay for 3 days, and I'm pretty sure for at least one of the days, I was the only person there. A family who checked in seemed to enjoy the pool. The critiques are the towels were ratty and the internet was weak. A great location. Can walk to everything downtown. The AC wasn't very powerful, and the room got a bit stuffy, so I'd probably not stay here in the summer."
