“I really enjoyed my stay at Maravu Taveuni Resort. My bure was beautiful, with the added charm of an outdoor shower, and felt tucked away in the jungle while still offering stunning sunset views over the ocean. The shower had trouble with water pressure and heat with the drought. The staff made the experience especially memorable. Ima and the front desk team were always warm, welcoming, and helpful. “This is a great place to stay with a great family. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, had a wonderful easy time and were very sorry to leave. This isn't a hotel or resort - it's a homestay and we really felt at home. Jale, Nita, Sia and Jima are creative, interesting and generally exceptional people and perfect hosts. They can organise lots of things for you to do, but they don't 'push' anything. It's up to you. The food was REALLY excellent - some of the best food we've eaten, ever,……

“潜水很方便，离码头和潜水点都很近。但其他周边缺乏可逛的点，住店客人很少，也没法组织一日游之类的。然后热水水温比较低，提了一次，第二天好了点，后面又恢复旧状了，反正凑活能洗，也就不去提了。另外，我在斐济遭遇了现金失窃，被偷了200美金和100新西兰元，但小偷不是全部拿走，而是只是取了几张，所以我直到出了斐济才发现，无法确定是在2个度假村的哪个被偷的。”

The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the food is delicious, but none of that compares to the quality of the service. The staff goes out of their way yo help you and make you feel at home. They made a lovo dinner for us which was delicious and Knox drove us to all of our day trip destinations filling the driving time with interesting observations about the island and history.
