"This place was very disappointing. It has the air of a place going out of business. The staff didn't seem to care about the condition of it, and there was a charge for absolutely everything. For a surf camp it was surprising that there was no beach or area to surf by the property. They also didn't seem to be keen to teach surfing it's only for established surfers, which then have to pay $50 a day to surf. The property itself was the biggest let down. "The Fiji Hilton is at a great location! It’s very close to Port Denarau and convenient for boat transfers. The rooms are right on the beach and right next the water. We chose a room with a kitchen and laundry, which was incredibly helpful! It’s not a great site to snorkel off the beach, but it’s a nice walking beach for finding shells! The pools were a great bonus for our 6yr old. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction happening in the resort. It was kind of hard to relax at the pool with a jack hammer noise close by."
