"While our room itself was very nice, clean and fresh, and everything in it worked well (hot tub, fireplace), we were disappointed at check-in. After we had processed and paid our full room amt, then the desk clerk let us know "sorry. Our pool is not going at this time". I wish they had told us this BEFORE taking our payment so we could have requested a courtesy discount. Also, we learned that the "free breakfast" was just bare bones minimum food, and it would cost us an extra $8.00 each if we wanted eggs, etc. Upon checkout, another desk attendant ("Heather") totally lacked any customer service qualities. She did not look directly at us, ask how our stay had been, and didn't smile once. She is not suited for that position being so cold and rude. Not a nice end at all. "
