「We loved the inside of the cottage, it was very clean and beautiful. It had a great view as you can see the lake from the dining table. Host was also helpful and provided us with plastic cups at our request, and gave us a tour. I would definitely recommend. 」

「We really enjoyed our family getaway over the Labour Day. The cottage is cute and is a close drive to Bala. It would be have been preferable to be waterfront or have better lake access but the place was clean, the owners were nice and the area is still lovely. 」

「This was a nice big place, clean and good value for the money. Better than a hotel room at any of the cheap hotels in town. Mark and Steve had some excellent freshly ground coffee, sugar and creamers for us to enjoy in the morning. Great location near downtown and the lake, but quieter than where the chain hotels are.」

「Stayed at this cottage for a 3 night getaway. Since the cottage is only 2 years old, everything is new, clean, comfortable and very bright. Great location right on the water, which made it a great spot to watch the boats go by, and spectacular sunsets. Grocery store and Walmart are only 5 minutes away, as are other stores, and restaurants.」

「This is a lovely getaway with great hosts who work hard to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Our only problem was that being our first time staying in muskoka in the winter we were not prepared for everything being closed. It is a pretty location and I'm sure in the summer there are more options. 」

"I recommend that guests double-check and confirm with the front desk whether their deposit will be refunded automatically or if they need to swipe their card in person. I was very frustrated when the front desk employee told me during check-out that I didn’t need to swipe my card to get the deposit refund. However, after driving an hour away, the front desk called me back to inform me that I had to return to swipe the card in person......Lost my time and gas."
