「I stayed for a week in June. The room was spacious and clean, with WiFi and an AC unit. Breakfast was what Americans might call "continental", with local sweets to go with an espresso, fruit and yogurt. The person who checked me in was very helpful and friendly, was happy to provide some local information, and checked in on me several times during the stay to see if I needed anything. The only downside was that the one-way street outside my window was a bit noisier than I would have...

「The property was very lovely, and the room was wonderful! They had the wood ready for the fireplace each night. Breakfast was very nice and the staff in the Cantina were lovely. We were there when restaurant wasn't open, so that was a disappointment, and the town was pretty deserted. However, it was so pretty that we would return to the area, and stay here again.」

We ate at the restaurant two nights and had a really great time. Breakfast was perfect for us. 「Smack bang in the middle of the old town, situated just in the pedestrianised area. Given the location, there is no parking, but we had no problems finding free parking within a 3 minute walk. (I'd recommend a car so that you can visit outlying towns / villages/ mountains.) The hotel does a good continental breakfast between 7 and 10. L'Aquila has plenty of options for bars, restaurants etc.」
