“Hermoso hotel”

“The very best shower water pressure in town, magnificent! It is well situated, a block from the famously welcoming restaurant Berlin. The roof terrace is sumptuously furnished with a splendid view of the Jardin. Picture yourself reading a book on a real chaise lounge, surrounded by historical Centro.”

“Pros: close to Centro, spacious, kitchen well equipped, A/C in bedroom area (that mostly cooled living room too), big balcony with view, pet friendly. Hostess was very responsive & helpful. Cons (not really cons, just things to CONsider): no check-in desk (it says hotel but it’s more like an Airbnb), 1/2 to 3 flights of stairs so if you have heavy luggage that might be an issue. Handrails only on 1 side of stairs.”

“A lovely small hotel in a restored historic building in central San Miguel de Allende. The property has a nice restaurant and bar with seating area. The rooms are spacious and well lit, with a lovely brick ceiling. A delicious breakfast was included in our rate. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value. We would definitely stay again.”

“Food service and ambience are wonderful. This was our third visit. Would love it if they added some lounge chairs so we could enjoy the courtyards and rooftop even more.”

“Casa Arca es un hotel hermoso. El concepto, la arquitectura, las habitaciones y el ambiente nos encantaron. Se nota el cuidado en cada detalle y entendemos por qué ha recibido una Llave Michelin. Sin embargo, nuestra experiencia estuvo muy cerca de ser de una sola estrella. Siempre he creído que, en hotelería, el servicio al huésped es lo más importante. Una noche estábamos cenando en el restaurante cuando se fue la energía. Seguimos ordenando comida, pero al pedir dos Coca-Cola Zero nos……
