“It was okay. Resort fees provided nothing we would use. On top of resort fees, you must pay for parking, and pay to reserve/use the cabanas. Our last day, the maids didn't even service our room. And the one night we ordered room service, it was kind of a nightmare...once we got the food, it was not good. All that aside, it is an older resort, that is maintained in pretty good shape. Great launching pad to explore Tampa and surrounding beaches.”

“Very clean. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Good breakfast, REAL EGGS not powdered!! Nice, clean pool. It wss fun to imagine what the place was like back in it's heyday when Marilyn Monroe and Robert Kenedy walked the halls. Tge history of the place adds to the charm. I brought a friend who only stays in Hiltons.... they would absolutely book here again!! That is the HIGHEST compliment!”

“I really regret not checking out and reading about this hotel, it was not a nice experience since hotel was not clean, Elevator was not working. Ice machines were not working. We needed to go through the stairs to the 4th floor to get ice. I’ve stayed in Motel 6 motels that were in better shape and cleaner than this place. The only good thing was been right next to the beach. ”

“The room was very clean, the staff very helpful & kind, continental breakfast was good. TRU Hilton management should re-think their parking situation, guest who stay should NOT pay additional cost for garage parking ($40 a day for valet parking) when the garage is not at full capacity!!!! That is something that will not make me rebook. And the local outside parking garages are $25 a day, no thank you. So even though it’s a beautiful hotel, located centrally around so many restaurants- eateries,……

“Great vibe, clean rooms and excellent staff. Check-in was a breeze!”

“The photos make this place look better than it actually is. It’s old and very outdated. Smells musty. Shower tub was peeling and rusted. No vent in bathroom so it steams up really bad and everything gets wet. Queen beds are very small to be “queen” size and not comfortable. Staff is pretty rude. There’s a bar attached to the motel so a lot of guests get too drunk and are loud late at night. The A/C for your room is a window unit that’s fairly noisy. The pool is the nicest part but it is right……

“This was a very nice place. What we loved about this place: we didn't have to pay for daily parking, we didn't have to pay daily resort fee, we didn't have to pay daily amenities fees. We didn't get an outrageous bill when our stay was over. We love that it is in walking distance to John's Pass. Will I book this place again, you bet! Plus, the beach view is outstanding.
