“I communicated twice with host on arrival time at 6-7pm but there was nobody there serving us. We had to get keys from the owner of the restaurant next door. Nobody spoke English! The BnB is on a walking street so finding it was a pain. Parking is on street and we needed to haul our luggage from parking spot to BnB then another 20 steep steps to room. It was a very unpleasant check in experience ”

“Everything was excellent to start with the communication, we're able use WhatsApp and communicate in English. The building was renovated and all units are comfortable, modern, and very private. The shared kitchen was cleaned and organized daily. The building is walking distance from the beaches and even closer to most restaurants. We loved it. ”

Arrangeants sur les horaires. Je conseil. Jardin tres joli.

“Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Location is outside of Central Palermo and hotel is not staffed 24hrs so be sure to make contact about check in times. Breakfast feels lovely and personal rather than the usual buffet. My room was lovely with a great sea view I could look at for hours. A great spot to retreat to after a daybook sightseeing.”

“This is an amazing place to stay. Parking accessible on the street, but I was here during the off season so not sure in high season. Everything is in walking distance, shopping, groceries, restaurants, the beach, train. Staff was very helpful at check-in, pointing out directions to various places in turn. Definitely would stay here again.”

“Apart from the great view during breakfast and the warm, enthusiastic front desk staff, this guesthouse is utterly disappointing and highly not recommended. I have never been to a place that doesn't offer eggs for breakfast. The only food available was unpalatable cakes, very hard bread, chopped tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and some peaches that were nearly rotten. The soundproofing in the rooms is terrible. You can clearly hear someone sneezing in the room on the floor below, and at around 2:00……

“The Family Affair rooms are on the second floor of a mixed use block in an older building in an established area of Palermo. Only 15 mins walk to the cathedral. We had a lovely evening in a nearby wine bar on their recommended list and then had dinner in a fish restaurant nearby. Felt like we were amongst the locals rather than the tourists in the historical centre.
Very easy to catch a bus back to the airport rather than the very expensive taxi we took on arrival. The accommodation is very……
