"We stayed here because of a visit to TXSU, its very close to lots of dining, Dutch Bros coffee is in walking distance and the short trip to the school was straight through town. We found a delicious dinner option just by passing by and a few blocks away. Such a cute little town! Staff were all nice and friendly "

"Needs up dated a little but the staff is good it’s pet friendly and location is great everything is within 10-12 minutes. My daughter is at Texas state with her dog traveling with me, I will most likely stay here for the next 3 years when visiting my kidz. San Marcus is a nice place with rio vista park close by dog park and pet friendly hotels bars and restaurants "

"Everyday was good. Their continental Breakfast it’s ok. The room has shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Which is a great thing for those who don’t have their own toiletrits."

"First of all, this hotel is old and located directly next to IH35. With that being said, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was as clean as it could be. There was soap, shampoo. The bed was comfortable. But the best part? The air conditioning worked fantastically. Overall, for the price, it was a good experience and I would recommend."

"Last minute trip to San Marcos for the TXST Football game. Limited hotel opportunity for the weekend. Stayed at the San Marcos Inn and was surprised. Room was clean, comfortable and had easy access to the game. Outside appearance not too exciting. "

"A/C was barely blowing made it miserably hot. Shower curtains were held up by what looked like wire hangers. TV didn't even work. Only had two bath towels a day. No hand towels nor wash rags. All in all a terrible experience "
