「Loved the unique concept and rustic decor. The main inconvenience was no bathroom sink. We had to brush teeth, etc. in kitchen. Also, ceiling fan and shower could have been cleaner. One light bulb in bedroom was broken and just hanging so we didn't turn it on. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. 」

「The Farmstead is charming, quiet and lovely. The grounds are gorgeous and it is perfectly located to reach all the best shopping quickly. Judy (the host) is warm and welcoming. Breakfast is all homemade and yummy. The Farmstead is a fabulous secret find.」

「This is the most charming property. I stayed in the main house in a beautiful room on the ground floor. Everything is so well maintained, you feel as if you are living in your own lovely farmhouse. The owners have thought of everything - from the honor bar where you can grab a seltzer water or a snack to the delicious coffee you can make to kick off your day. I also love the pool area! Loved it all -- and can't wait to go back! 」

「The bungalow was great for our anniversary getaway. The perfect place to unplug and just enjoy a night away. The pool was fun with a vintage vibe. It was all just a very short drive into Round Top for dinner and shopping.」

「It turns out this house is 110 years old and is just as charming as you would think it would be. The kitchen is stocked with anything you would need to make a great meal, there is tons of history on the walls and everywhere inside the home. The rooms and bathroom were great. It was like stepping back into the 1890's when we walked in. Not to mention LaGrange is just a great, fun town too. If you are looking for a great place to stay in LaGrange, this is it. You won't be disappointed.」
