Charming & Cozy Victorian in Quiet Residential Setting

Come and enjoy a relaxing stay in our renovated 1914 Folk Victorian home located in old La Grange; near the historic downtown, the newly renovated Casino Hall, the Old Jail, the Fayette Heritage Museum & Archives, the Faison Home and Monument Hill & Kreische Brewery State Historic Sites. Our charming home is close to shopping and restaurants, and with all of the comforts of home, we think it is a gem of a retreat for a long weekend or a full week's immersion in small town Texas!

So as to be as transparent as possible, and to avoid any misunderstandings as have occurred in the past, please know that we cannot accomodate pets. There has been past damage caused by guests' pets and we wish to avoid that in future. We thank you for your understanding. JTK

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was so charming, beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Everything was spotless, from the kitchen to the linens. Great and quiet location but close to plenty of things to do. Our host, JT, was friendly and responsive, which made the experience even better. We’d definitely stay here again!

The kitchen was wonderfully appointed. The bedrooms could not have been more comfortable, and the furnishings were beautiful. This host has a keen eye for detail and has created a charming little get-away. The historical touches were my favorite!

Great little house in a quiet neighborhood

My mom and I enjoyed our stay; the house was clean, well stocked and in a good neighborhood. The owner was quick to respond to messages and had an easy check in and out process.

Lovely home away from home

Lovely home!

This home has been beautifully decorated! The bedrooms are large, the kitchen has a great setup and the living room is large with plenty of seating. Everything is clean and the beds are comfortable. It is located not far from Round Top and Festival Hall. We had a great time visiting the shops and restaurants.

Home for the Holidays

I booked this property for my daughter and her family who were visiting here from Sacramento, CA for the holidays. The house was perfect for their needs. It was very comfortable and clean. The owner anticipated all of their needs and the house was well appointed. My daughter said they would definitely stay here again!

Such a beautiful, historic home with all the modern conveniences you will possibly need. It was the cleanest VRBO property I have ever stayed in. It has a warm, welcoming vibe in a very quiet neighborhood. The host was very responsive to all communications and provided recommendations for local activities. Fantastic House

This is a great house and fantastic location. Very clean, amazing historical decor, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom has anything you may have forgotten. Quiet neighborhood. Would have loved to sit on the front porch, but it rained the majority of the time we were there. Loved this adorable well maintained home!

Great Stay!

Really great house in a prime location in La Grange. Very clean, well stocked, comfortable bed, nice kitchen. Great location. We walked to downtown La Grange for Italian food (about 10 minute walk), great Mexican restaurant around the corner (about 2 minute walk), and major grocery store (about a 15 minute walk/2 minutes by car). Would stay here again and recommend to family or friends for stay in La Grange.

Absolutely lovely

The house was absolutely lovely. It felt warm and welcoming, and was appointed beautifully. The neighborhood was very comfortable, and we enjoyed having breakfast on the front porch. It was convenient to town, and all that we needed. We feel that the owner went above and beyond in providing a wonderful place to stay.
