"We had a wonderful week! The layout of the house was perfect for the 14 of us and we loved being right on the beachfront. There were 5 beach chairs for our use and some sand toys. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The view from the master bedroom was amazing. However, the home could use a good, deep cleaning!!! Also, the shower in the courtyard didn’t work, We only had a cold water hose to rinse off the sand from the beach. The outdoor shower should be repaired to make it easier for guests to comply with their request to remove all sand before getting into the showers inside the house. The front porch is a pleasant spot, but the cushions on the porch furniture are in drastic need of replacement. It made it difficult to enjoy the porch. The location is great, with restaurants and activities within walking distance. Check in and check out were seamless. The week was so good, but could be improved by the suggestions above, especially for the money we paid."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful four nights on Balboa Island. The cottage had all the charm we were hoping for, and the location was perfect. Easy access to downtown Balboa Island and the ferry if you want to go to the peninsula. We did it all!We used the four bikes that were provided and brought our own along, so we biked everywhere. We parked the cars and didn't use them during our stay.There was plenty of seating for everyone in the family room, and having four full bathrooms was a huge plus. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. :)"

Very beautiful and very close to the downtown peninsula, we were also able to walk and take the ferry across balboa and went to the balboa fun zone with my family and back, would recommend this place to all my friends and family, thank you!"

"Check-in was really simple. This is a 2nd floor unit and the view is great, can confirm ocean-view looks great no matter time of day. Stayed with a group of 6 and could easily sleep 10 depending on the makeup of your group/folks who will share beds. Water pressure is among the best of any place I've stayed. Extremely easy beach access. Laundry is coin operated and machines are in good shape and worked well"
